We wanted a tour of St Maarten both the Dutch side and the French side and we got a wonderful tour guide, Lloyd (Taxi #352). He drove so wonderful and at a nice tour pace explaining all of the history and details. He was a very careful and smooth driver which we have had so many that were not on other tours. Enjoyed the island especially Maho Beach! Recommend 10/10 for anyone who wants a great full island tour.

Our guide Cindy was fabulous. We told her what we were interested in doing and not doing and she accommodated us. We got to see the entire island and spend time at the places that interested us. We had a really good lunch and an opportunity to shop and got to see historical things.

Our driver was friendly, drove safely, and was flexible about where we wanted to go — those were genuine positives. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of what a “sightseeing tour” implies.
He didn’t seem familiar with the itinerary listed on the website, offered little to no commentary about St. Maarten’s history, culture, or traditions, and didn’t communicate any time constraints throughout the day. When we specifically asked to visit local restaurants, he instead recommended tourist-area spots that he described as serving local food — not quite the same thing.
He was a friendly driver, not a guide. If you already know the island well and just need a flexible ride, that might work for you. But if you’re hoping to actually learn something about the destination — which is the whole point of a tour — you’ll likely be disappointed. We felt we could have rented a car and used Google Maps for less money and similar results.

This tour maximizes your time on the island. Adjust the itinerary to what you or your family are interested in. Skip what you are not interested in. The vans are new and very clean. The best part, especially with little kids is that most of the sites you get dropped off feet from the activity/attraction. Easy off, come and go as you please, and no hike to your car. It may be a bit more than a group tour but the difference in price gives you freedom and allows you to relax and go with what your kids are feeling like that day to guide what you adjust.

Excellent guide. Mama Gucci gave us a wonderful tour of the entire island with the perfect experience for our family including grandchildren. We enjoyed a great time at Mullet Bay Beach, Mahó Beach, Fort Louis, Madison Chocolat, Iguana Farm, La Sucriere bakery in Cole Bay, and many other sights to cover the whole island. She was very knowledgeable of the island and delivered us back to the ship in plenty of time. The ride was pleasant throughout the trip.

Mama Gucci was amazing. She took us around the island man we saw it all in 6 hrs wow. Fed th birds and iguans. Maho beach saw 3 planes land. Local chocolate factory, and local diner for lunch. Also cool little Beach that was semi private where you could walk out to a small little piece of land.

Cindy was an excellent tour guide. Deeply knowledgeable about both French and Dutch sides of the island. She gave us options and allowed us to choose our own adventure. I would say our only mistake was not meeting earlier to make full advantage of the day. Super highly recommend.

They have a good idea of what to do. You can change things up if you'd like. We didn't realize the guide was going to drive away for more than 45m, with our snorkel gear, sunscreen, etc still in the van, so we didn'tget to go in the water. We still had a great time!

Had a nice ride around the island with Lloyd. Traffic was bad so that’s not his fault. He took us to some highlights and gave us lots on knowledge about the island. Took us to a couple shopping spots we wanted to hit. Never rushed us and kept saying take your time and enjoy. All around good day, minus the traffic.

Our private tour driver was Mr. Too Cool. He was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Had a great day exploring and learning about St. Maarten. We toured both the French and Dutch sides including stops in Marigot and Maho Beach to see the planes land. He was also able to work in a stop to allow us to zipline at Rainforest Adventures at Rockland Estates and then drop us off in town in Philipsburg. Highly recommend!

We decided on a private tour for our group of 4. We had the sweetest guide (I’m so sorry that I can’t remember her name). She took us around both the Dutch and French side of the island. We had a great lunch in Marigot. We saw the planes take off and land, Orient Beach, Ft Louis and even some iguanas. We had a good day and felt really taken care of. Enjoy!

We were a group of 15 and our two guides did a great job of showing us the island of St Maarten, both the Dutch and French side. They stopped at a few beautiful sites and then we spent a few hours on Orient Beach. It was a great day.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the island. The stops were good although for us we would have skipped the last stop at the airport beach and spent more time at the beach restaurant we stopped at first. Nice beach and excellent tropical drinks there.
