This self-guided Cornwall road trip is designed to show how the county’s coastline, historic towns and inland landscapes connect into one coherent journey rather than a collection of separate destinations. Instead of piecing routes together yourself, the guide links Cornwall’s most iconic touring routes — the Atlantic Highway, the Penwith Peninsula and the Fal River region — into a clear travelling structure. You can follow the full route across Cornwall or explore individual parts depending on timeframe. Along the way the guide connects harbour villages, Atlantic cliffs, beaches, maritime towns and historic inland landscapes that reveal the character of the county. Rather than a rigid itinerary, the guide provides narrative context, route progression and flexible time-based planning ideas so you can adapt for coastal walks, scenic drives and changing weather. With 12 months access included, you can start planning well before your trip and return to the guide whenever you need.
