The visit to Petra is simply amazing. It is well worth the time spent getting there, however there is no escaping the fact that it is very, very long. Our trip started at 00:45 and ended at about midnight. It was all incredibly efficient though and by and large ran like clockwork. The only delay was when we arrived in Aqaba we were kept on the ferry for about an hour as a customs officer hadn’t turned up. There’s quite a bit of queuing too, you queue to leave Egypt and again to enter Jordan, and then the reverse on the way back. It is mostly queuing outside, it’s still dark (in early Feb) and was quite cold so make sure you have a jacket with you. The guides were great, and our tour bus catered for three languages. I saw previous reviews where people said that people spoke over the guides when it wasn’t their language but that wasn’t our experience. Petra itself is a sight to behold, absolutely stunning! The Treasury, jaw dropping! And the site is huge, we could have done with an entire day as you just can’t see it all in the few hours you are there for. There is a walk of around 45 mins in each direction which is downhill on the way in and therefore uphill on the way out. We are both 65, and quite active, but had no issues at all with the hike. You can take a golf buggy (which I think is $22 cash each, one way. Please check as I’m not too sure, or take a horse). We felt the lunch at a nearby hotel wasn’t great, but as it came at the end of the visit to Petra and we were about to sit on a coach for several hours, it was better not to over eat! Some have complained about the toilet stops being at shopping villages to buy souvenirs, but I couldn’t really see any other options. That said, there was absolutely zero hassle where we stopped, the vendors showed respect and left you alone to browse in peace. And no tips required to use the toilet! Don’t be put off by the journey, it really wasn't too arduous! Petra is an unforgettable experience, the Jordanian people are so friendly and welcoming, it is well, well worth it! I’m not sure why no one offers a two or three day trip though, if they did, we would have done that instead.

An extremely tiring but magical morning hiking up this mountain, the moment when you finally reach the summit and see the sun rise is exhilarating! I feel like our group were looked after at all times, we were never pressured to pay more than we already had (even though this was astonishingly good value for money for what you got) and even on a few occasions when I lost the rest of the group due to how busy it was at the top, our guides found me each time and reunited us which was a huge relief. Credit especially to our main guide Mohammed for his extremely energetic and inspiring introduction to the tour, reminding us of the stories of Moses and St Catherine and making us all highly hyped for the long morning ahead. I tipped 200 EGP to our Bedouin guide, Mohammed and the driver - only about £3 GBP each but I felt all deserved it equally. A great day and I’ll be looking at their other tours next time I’m in Egypt!

I had a wonderful day. The guide sayed was just brilliant, excellent English and excellent knowledge. He was fun and engaged all day. Great company in our group as well. And the museum , extra trip on the lunch and pyramids were wonderful. Thank you for a great experience. Dont be put off by some reviews about the journey. We had a small bus collect from the hotel (although was 20 mins earlier than expected) taken to meet some bigger buses and directed onto the correct buses by booking. Yes it’s a long journey but very worth it!

The Cairo trip from Sharm was an incredible experience. The coach ride was long, no food included on the ride so I'd advise to take snacks, lunch is included and was lovely. The tour guide spoke numerous languages which was great. The day was long and jam packed with things to do. We visited the antiquities museum which was great to learn about Egypt's history. We learnt how to make papyrus and had an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. The pyramids and great sphinx was a magical experience. Anyone travelling to Egypt this tour is a must. I would say if I was to go again we would fly as my children struggled with her long coach and tiredness. Thanks for a fantastic trip 👍

Early start, long day. Totally worth it Modest dress as those who are shorts are asked to wear a wrap to cover up My tour was ran by Sharm smile tours The driver was excellent the guide Mahmoud clearly was passionate about the history of Egypt and Sinai. As it was a private tour it went at your pace. Definitely worth the extra cost. Lunch over looking the sea at dahba was very good. Truly a great day !

What an amazing day we have had on our trip to Cairo! Hishek was our guide and he was amazing. Really friendly and knowledgeable about Egypt and Cairo. He was really helpful and even when we were on a tight schedule because of the flights we booked, he managed to get everything fitted in for us and made sure we were happy and fed and watered. He even managed to squeeze in some shopping for us. He is a great guide. Our driver was great as well and got us around in style and safely in a hectic place to drive around. We definitely recommend this day tour, you will not be disappointed. Thankyou so much!
