Your hike starts here, passing fields of sugar cane, coffee plants and local crops such as tomatoes, cabbage and paprika. The trail leads up to Pico António, where you’ll visit a local family, relax and enjoy a cup of locally grown coffee while taking in breathtaking views over the valley. Afterwards, you’ll hike down to the village for a traditional homemade lunch with a family living in the valley.
