Know the indigenous people!
Andres was very helpful. He helped sourced for us a large 1.5mx1m Ecuadorian wool tapestry that was very difficult to find. The visit to the Otavalo market and the surrounding area is an interesting way to know more about the indigenous people. Andres was punctual, polite and very helpful, so THANK YOU!

A great day of biking and shopping
We had a great day with our guide Mauro. The biking was very nice and he did a great job adjusting the ride to our abilities -- we rode for over 2 hours. It was interesting riding alongside the huge greenhouses for roses and the other scenery of his selected route is very pretty.
We enjoyed our shopping at the Otavalo market and were glad we had done something other than just driving there and back.
Mauro was also a good and safe driver

A fully enjoyable day in the Ecuadorian countryside with a number of memorable highlights.
It can be a long drive but our guide always checked to see if we needed health breaks. The day is a full and interesting one if you want to check out the Otavalo and Cotacachi markets and our guide recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch. David our guide was excellent and really made the long day work beautifully.

Carla was an exceptional tour guide. She took us to places that were not on our itinerary which included visiting a musicians workshop and a weaving workshop. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with her.

All around great experience with Quito Tour Bus! Grace was incredibly helpful with our booking and answering our questions prior to the tour, and our guide Fernando was so knowledgeable and helpful during the tour! Definitely would recommend this excursion while you are in Quito!

Life outside of Quito
Be ready for an amazing day. The tour truly gives you a feeling for the life outside of the city-yummy treats and coffee, lunch at local restaurant, and an amazing g waterfall hike. We went in to see an indigenous man and his wife weaving. Wonderful. Volcanoes. Go rain or shine.

Great day with Andres....
Great day with Andres. Enjoyed morning tea by the lake, looking at the volcano. The cascade walk was an easy 15 minute walk and the cascade itself was rushing. Our trip to the markets was helped by Andre's speaking with the stall holders.
Had lunch at Mi Oltavito, which was delicious. Great day.

This was such a treat of a trip! Experiencing the beautiful Ecuadorian scenery on the way to Otavalo was breathtaking - words and pictures cannot do it justice. Otavalo market itself was quite small and touristy, but our guide did an amazing job taking us to an authentic, locally-made store nearby. We greatly enjoyed the biscuits and lunch stops along the way. Our guide Felipe was very accommodating, an excellent and safe driver, knowledgable, and professional. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable day trip from Quito!

A great time!
This was a great tour. Getting to see the Ecuadorian country side was wonderful. Ximena was wonderful and very informative. The Otavalo market was amazing. We went on a Saturday when it’s even larger than normal.
