Fun and laidback fishing experience
This fishing was a fun and memorable experience! Our captain met us at the port and got us on the boat right away. He set up and cast lines and let us reel them in. This is great for someone with minimal or more experience. Our captain made sashimi with our fish and served it to us right on board.

Best Bonita Ever
It was hard to find the lobby and our guide. But once we found each other, the experience was a blast! It wasn’t a big fishing day, but the guys did everything possible to help us enjoy the day. We saw blue footed boobies & whales. We caught enough Bonita to have fresh sashimi. It was delicious!! I would definitely recommend this adventure to others!

Incredible hiking at Boca the Tomatlan
This hike has spectacular views of the local hiden quite beaches. The color blue and green clear water is impressive. I saw a variety of birds, it’s a real hike for the ones who love hiking! Abraham, the guide is biologist, knows everything about nature and wild animals and insect. He is very interesting and adapts to your level. I loved this incredible hike at Boca!

Got on fish fast!
Amazing experience! Very knowledgeable guides. Pretty easy experience from the beginning. One tip is to make sure you bring some money to pay the port fees at the guard lobby. Once we set off it was smooth sailing. We were on fish right off the bat. Jack Crevelle, boy they put up a strong fight.
Then after our catch we had some sashimi with the fresh catch which was amazing.
After we ate a short break then we were back on the fish. We were trolling for the top water bite (for the fisherman out there)
After I tour was done the guy cleaned the fish for us and provided us with some filets to take back and cook. It was an amazing overall experience!

Fishing great, Viator support terrible.
Viator support very unhelpful. There was not enough details provided and the rep was somewhat rude when I asked them for more . We were promised private transportation to the port and they changed the booking after. We had to pay for our own transportation that was supposed to be included. No instructions on how to find out captain. Once we figured it out by ourselves the fishing was fantastic. We were on the fish immediately and our Captain Miguel was great. Could have been a little more prepared with the fishing tackle etc but he made up for that as we caught way more fish than those around us.

50th Birthday Celebration in PV
This tour was spectacular but there are a few things to note that might be helpful for future guests. Our tour was set for 7am at a meeting location with other guests from different tour companies. Our tour guide never showed up and the security guards on site asked us if we know the name of our tour and the name of our guide or what boat we would be traveling on. We had no idea other than what was listed on our Viator confirmation, “Private Sport Fishing Activity in Puerta Vallarta”. Viator never gave us the name of the guide or the boat and mentioned nothing about the meeting location being shared by other guests going on separate tours. I sent a message to the Viator host a little after 7am to ask of our tour was still on. I did get a quick response from the host to look for “Viento Negro” boat and the security guards were able to locate our guide with that information. ****Note to Viator, definitely provide your guests with the name of the guide or boat beforehand. Our tour started shortly after 730am and everything about the tour thereafter was absolutely amazing. We went out into the bay and caught Skip Jack, barracuda and Mackerel. Our guide David advised us of a little outside restaurant, Las Delicias Del Mar, that would prepare OUR catch for a small price. The food was incredible. We were served fresh fish tacos, fried fish, rice, beans, salsa, fresh bread with garlic sauce, homemade corn tortillas, pico de gallo and cold beer. I highly recommend this tour to anyway that wants to eat what they catch.
