More Than a Cooking Class — A Wonderful Family Experience
Little did we know just how charming and fun this experience would be. The class is hosted a few kilometers outside of Ohrid in a beautiful family home surrounded by fruit trees and greenery, and the setting could not have been more peaceful.
What really made the experience special was the family. They made everything feel incredibly warm, intimate, and personal from the moment we arrived. It felt less like a typical cooking class and more like being welcomed into someone’s home.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the entire experience was one of the highlights of our time in Ohrid. We’re already looking forward to using the recipes again once we’re back home.
Highly recommend this for anyone looking for something authentic, personal, and a little different from the usual sightseeing.

Fantastic experience
My husband and I shared a wonderful afternoon at the Monastery wine tasting experience. We were collected from our hotel in Pesthani by Philip who drove safely to the venue.
The setting is beautiful. The monastery had a local wedding also at the time. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting to other guests too. We were given a tour and explanation of the winery.
We tasted five wines, one raki and one gin. We purchased the gin to take home. We enjoyed the delicious platter of meats, cheese and bread. We never felt rushed, very relaxing and enjoyable. The monastery has a gorgeous puppy too named Zara, she made our day!
We totally recommend the experience, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely trip!
Fair price and lovely trip. Arrive 20 minutes early for picking your seat, but truthfully all the seats on the upper deck are good ones, and no one had to sit below. We were served the complimentary drink quickly, before leaving the dock so we had plenty of time for another or two during the trip. You pay for additional drinks at the normal prices for the area. The sunset and views were excellent and the trip was the perfect amount of time.

Great day out.
Great, friendly staff.
Reasonably priced drinks on board.
No guide or commentary, but if you've done your homework beforehand you'll know about the place/s you're visiting.
Bay of Bones is a quick 20 min ish stop. Interesting archeology but you won't be missing a great deal if you look at it from the landing stage. 150mkd, just over £2 to have a look.
St Naum was nice. 150mkd to get in the main church, we wandered in with a group. Its very beautiful inside but you'll literally be in there for minutes as its very small.
You can get a row boat ride 300mkd pp on the fresh water lake that's fed from the mountains. Never in my life have I seen such clear water. Lake water is totally drinkable.
Take your swim things as you'll definitely have time for a swim in the lake.
There are restaurants but we took our own lunch as didn't know what waiting time for meals were.
All in all we found it a great trip. €20 pp if booked in ohrid as opposed to €45 with tui. Row boat ride included with tui.

Best way to see Ohrid
Bobi is a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly everybody in town knows him. We walked, we took a small boat, we climbed a fortress with magnificent views and strolled through a forest and many beautiful ancient churches. A wonderful way to spend a day!
