Professional baseball began in Cincinnati and this unique experience takes guests to every location where the Reds played during the 19th and 20th century, tracing the connection between historic brewing and baseball along the way! Beginning at the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, the tour starts with an informative trip to Great American Ball Park and includes a stop in the Reds’ home dugout. From there, we head out via bus to Union Grounds and Cincinnati's Union Terminal, where the undefeated 1869 Red Stockings played baseball! The Crosley Field site is certainly on the list, as are Avenue Grounds and Bank Street Grounds. Findlay Market’s Opening Day Parade is a Cincinnati tradition dating back more than a century and we’ll take you along the original parade route on the way to the remaining structures of the historic John Hauck Brewery, owner of the team during the 1880s. Tours include a souvenir map, a ticket voucher to the Reds Hall of Fame, and a beer at the Moerlein Lager House!

Cincy Bourbon, Beer and Wine Streetcar Tour
3 hours
Free Cancellation
from
$129
Our fun begins at the Cincinnati Lager House, where we'll have a flight of beers and take a short tour of the brewpub, before enjoying a freshly prepared brunch. Afterward, we catch a streetcar to Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, looking for relics of the city's brewing past, both large and small, often hidden in plain sight. We'll share stories of not only the breweries that helped to build the Queen City, but also the saloons where thirsty citizens gathered every day. Along the way, we'll visit the historic underground lagering cellars of the the Park Brewery, open for the first time to visitors in many years and only available through this tour! After our underground exploration, the tour stops in for a pint at the Lackman Bar, located at a pre-Prohibition saloon site, with many local favorites on tap. Finally, we'll catch the streetcar and head back to the Cincinnati Lager House. A flight of beers, brunch entree, and a pint at the Lackman Bar are included with the tour.

The former Bruckmann Brewery complex in Cincinnati is one of the most complete 19th brewery sites in the country. Brewing began at this location in 1856 and continued for nearly 100 years. Most major components of the brewery are still in existence including the brewhouse, malthouse, bottling building, stables, family home, power plant, and the underground lagering cellars! After brewing operations ceased in 1950, much of the site was repurposed for other businesses including the Fountain Winery in the 1970s and the headquarters and production facility of the Worthmore Food Products Company, who specialized in producing Cincinnati style chili and mock turtle soup. This site has not been open to tours before and the Brewing Heritage Trail has put a lot of work into repairing the site, so that we can bring guests inside several of the buildings and into the underground lagering cellars. Don't miss out on this unique experience offered only by our non-profit organization!
