Our group should be notified that the pagoda at Beihai Park was closed on Monday before booking this tour. The tour is great for viewing the forbidden city from the top view, admiring the gardens covered with various flowers, and the small lakes.

Great views!
We had a great time visiting the jingshan/beihai area which we highly recommended. It was an extremely scenic tour and the sites were great and not too crowded. Dana was knowledgeable and pleasant, and we were glad to have her with us :)

Jingshan Park (Jingshan Gongyuan)
  • Jingshan Park is a must for photographers, Instagrammers, and history buffs.

  • Visit Jingshan Park after the Forbidden City, if you aim to do both on the same day. It’s about a 1.5-mile (2.5-kilometer) walk to the main entrance in the south, but right across the road from the north gate.

  • Jingshan Park is generally wheelchair-accessible, but the hill is reached by steps.
