Once we confirm the conditions are good enough, we move. And when we move, we commit fully: we drive as far as needed - sometimes 50 km, sometimes 200+ km - to find clear skies an seeing the lights. Both canyons are covered in snow, and its famous frozen waterfalls create a truly special fairy tale Arctic experience. Spring: In spring, the snow starts melting and nature slowly wakes up again. The canyons feels fresh, calm, and beautiful during this season. NOTE: At Auttiköngäs, we visit and explore the iconic historic log-driving site; the full Auttiköngäs loop trail is not included. A marked 4.3 km trail climbs at an easy-to-moderate pace to the 465 m summit and its panoramic views over the fells. GUIDED HIKE — small group, max 8 Pickup in Rovaniemi, then a 2.5-hour drive east. Your guide leads the trail, builds a campfire for grilled sausages and hot drinks, and photographs the day for you. Photos are sent to you free afterwards. Enjoy the scenic drive to Rovaniemi as you drive past the snowy forests of Lapland. When you arrive to Santa Claus Village you will have free time to explore Santa Claus Village. You will be able to experience the Christmas atmosphere and step across the Arctic Circle. You will have free time to take photos, visit the Post office, do some gift shopping and visit Santa himself! Also, you will have the chance to visit Snowman world which features the spectacular Ice World with nice snow fun activities. Snowman world is open from 6th of December until 17th of March, the visit is subject to weather conditions. Children aged 4 to 12 years old will have a chance to try mini snowmobiling at our mini track in Santa Claus Village. During your stay in the village you will be offered a buffet lunch. Your day will end with a transfer back to your pick-up point in Levi.

No pre-selected routes — every night is planned fresh from live cloud maps and solar data, and we drive wherever the sky is clearest: across Lapland, into Sweden, or further if the forecast promises a show. And while we watch for the aurora, the second hunt begins. Our smart telescope Repo— locks onto galaxies, nebulae and planets in real time. You choose the target: Saturn's rings, the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Nebula. You can watch it live, or scan a QR code and follow the view on your own phone. Repo will ride in the van with us and its powerful enough to photograph galaxies meanwhile we keep looking for aurora.
