Private tour with Viator
Chris was our tour guide.
We saw standing stones, learned about the Picts, saw old grave stones and churches,
My favorite was visiting a chapel built during WW2 by Italian POWs

Orkney Islands/ Highlands are breathtaking.
The guide, Willie, did a fantastic job explaining the history of the sites we saw and was incredibly helpful. The Orkney Islands/Highlands were incredible especially the standing stones. The trip was much more than we expected. Wish we had another day to take more time for the trip down to Ullapool

The guide, Lorraine knew...
The guide, Lorraine knew her facts and was proud and excited about her work and country. The tour was was well planned and timed out. The group was just the right size (not too large). It was a great way to experience the Neolithic history of northern Scotland/Orkney.

Best tour we’ve ever taken!
Our guide Ian (I know I spelled the name wrong) but he was absolutely brilliant! He is so passionate about these islands. Knows every nook and cranny, part of history, significance and little tid bits of interesting facts of these islands. We were just so impressed. We would come back here again but only do a tour with him. He truly is the best!

Outstanding tour
The guide/driver makes all the difference and Iain was outstanding. His sense of humor with his local knowledge and driving skills were without fault and make for a great tour.

A great tour!
This was a well organized tour that is great for cruise ship passengers. Michael was an excellent tour guide and Nicky was a great driver. Michael’s informative and engaging narratives were great. He was very knowledgeable and made it a fantastic tour.

The Magic of Orkney, the Wildness of theScottish Highlands, and the Spirit of the North Coast
Our driver and tour guide Martin w Rabbie's Tours was spectacular. His knowledge of history and animated, kind personality made it a rich experience. It was our first group tour and I would happily sign up for one again. It was an active 5 days and each day was full. The Scottish weather smiled on us this time.

Excellent excursion in all aspects.
It was an outstanding experience. Our guide Lorraine proved to have a great knowledge of history and archeology and gave us a complete lesson on the places that we visited. The driver was excellent.

Can’t miss tour
This was a fantastic tour, & our guide Chris was the one who made it so special. His humor & storytelling skills were top notch, not to mention his kindness. Every site was gorgeous, & the welcome of the Orkney people was also fantastic. Absolutely recommend!!!

Orkney tour
Ian was very knowledgeable. We had a great overview of Orkney. Lunch stop could be improved by providing a short list of restaurants in the area with some directions.

Wonderful introduction to Scotland !
An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The tour operator - Scotland's Wild - did a great job in every detail. We greatly appreciated both the planned itinerary and the opportunities to make changes as needed. The guides - Calum and Karen - were great company and really enhanced the trip with their knowledge of Scottish geography, history and lore. I particularly valued the many stops at ancient archaeological sites, especially on Orkney, and every stop on every day added a lot to the overall enjoyment of the trip.
