What are people saying about Ho Chi Minh City

Worth doing it.
This double activity is worth doing it while In Ho Chi Minh City. It offers two different things in one day. The first one in the Vietkong tunnels gives a full perspective of the Vietnam war from the Vietnamese point of view. The second in the Mekong Delta is fun and entertaining. The tour guide Matthew is exceptional in his job and with good English

Worth a shot even if trips are not your bag.
Good fun; lovely guide Mingo.
Decent van and felt learnt a good bit about Vietnam without having to make a lot of effort.
It’s a slog to do the tunnels and the delta in one go but equally the down time in the van travelling optimised the day.
The lunch was lovely which is unusual for a tour. The amount of fresh fruits along the way just added to the experience.
Not sure what we enjoyed more; the delta or the tunnels. Would have been annoyed to miss either of them.
The order of the tunnels and then the delta is appropriate; the horrors of war followed by an afternoon seeing how people lived off the land for generations.
Highly recommended

A great experience!
Our Cu Chi Tunnels tour was an unforgettable and educational experience. Seeing the tunnel system in person gave our family a much deeper understanding of the history, ingenuity, and difficult conditions during the war. Our guide, Xem, explained everything clearly and kept both the adults and our teenage boys engaged. Walking through part of the tunnels made the experience especially memorable, although no one was pressured to participate. The tour was fascinating, interactive, and very well organized. We left with a greater appreciation for the resilience of the Vietnamese people. This tour is absolutely worth doing, and we highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our...
We really enjoyed our trip. Everything went smoothly, we had a lot of fun, and it was a solid experience from start to finish—largely thanks to our amazing guide Manh, who was both super informative and entertaining. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about going.

Don't be put off by the long drive; this experience is well worth the time it takes to get there and back.
Communication with tour organiser Mikey was straightforward and really helpful. Guide Kenny was fantastic; his deep love and appreciation of his country and its history, and his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge about the sites we visited, was always evident. The car was very comfortable for the long drive to the mountain and our driver handled the heavy rain very well, keeping us safe on the roads throughout a long day of driving to and from Ho Chi Minh City.
Ba Den Mountain was amazing; I could have easily spent a whole day there. A lot of locals are there on the weekend, which was not an issue as the site is huge. However, if you want a quieter experience (which is mainly useful when trying to take photos as we sometimes had to wait for space or take turns in front of some of the more spectacular statues and scenery), I suggest visiting during the week. The Cao Dai (temple) was spectacular and like nothing I have ever seen before. I am so glad I got to experience it.

A must do!
We did a few tours during our stay in Saigon, and I have to single out Travis as by far the best guide we had.
From the moment we met him, he was friendly, funny, and incredibly engaging.
Throughout the day, he shared fascinating information about the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's history, and local culture, making every part of the journey interesting.
His storytelling and enthusiasm kept everyone entertained and ensured we all had a wonderful time.
Like many of the other reviews mention, this tour includes a wide variety of activities, so you really get to experience the Mekong Delta in one memorable day. It never felt rushed, and every stop added something unique to the experience.
This was, without doubt, the best day of our trip. If you're considering a Mekong Delta tour, I can't recommend this one—and especially Travis as your guide—highly enough.

Pleasant boat trip and discovery of island on the Mikong
The tour was very interesting in terms of discovery of the local people’s way of life and activities. Our tour agent Vinh was very helpful and professional as he. He started with the history of Saigon( Ho Chi Minh City) and tall about the the rice paddies and the tradition of verifying ancestors within the rice paddies. Through the tour he gave us a lot of information about the locals , their activities and way of life. He showed us and explained the different steps of making the coconut candies. Great thank you to Vinh

We did the Cu Chi Tumnels...
We did the Cu Chi Tumnels trip with Jay and I must say that it was one of the best experiences in Vietnam. Jay is probably the funniest tour guide I have ever come across in Vietnam and it was absolutely fantastic. He has a great knowledge about the history of Vietnam and how the Cu Chi tunnels were used. It was a great experience and I would like to have him as our tour guide. Also, crawling underneath the tunnels was challenging but fun.

A must when you first arrive!
The best way to see Ho Chi Minh City! We did the 7.30am pick up, which I'd recommend to avoid the heat.
Hao was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and attentive. He also organised stops aligned to what we wanted.
The best first tour to do when you arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. The Jeep can fit 6 people. 2 x rows of 3.

Very well organized and informative
"My wife and I had a fantastic experience on our walking food tour with Anna. From the moment we started, her energy and enthusiasm for Vietnamese street food were infectious. She did a wonderful job introducing us to the local flavors and culture. We are so happy we hired her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an authentic culinary adventure!"

White and red sand dunes.
Bring flip flops or water shoes for the stream. Hat and sunblock for the dunes. You will have sand in your shoes at the end. Restaurant for lunch was very good. Your guide was great. Informative and shared little bits of information about the area. ATV or Jeep is worth the money!!!! Sleeper bus is nice.

A must-do Ho Chi Minh City experience for people of any age.
Our Motorbike drivers were amazing. My Driver, Ruby, was a delight. She made me (age 77) feel at ease as she maneuvered the streets of the city with bikes, cars, vans, busses, etc going this way and that with ease. She never once made me feel unsafe. The stops that we made as a group were perfect. The Burning Monk monument was something we would have missed on our trip without these guides. Our treats in the market were delicious. Anthony, who was my husband's driver, was a perfect city guide as well as driver. He answered all questions. All of the guides spoke excellent English which made us feel at ease. The traffic in Ho Chi Minh city is truly organized chaos, but even though we were right in the middle of it, our experience was spectacular and truly a highlight of our Southeast Asia trip. Thank you Ruby, Anthony, and our other two drivers for this amazing and fun way to see the city.
