This was a necessary chill laid back tour. The ATVs at the sand dunes was hilarious and mesmerizing. Lee was super chill and gave great information along the way! Sunset at the red sand dunes was relaxing but the Fairy Streams was the surprisingly beautiful and peaceful. Cherry on top was getting back and being served dinner before riding back to town.

Bring flip flops or water shoes for the stream. Hat and sunblock for the dunes. You will have sand in your shoes at the end. Restaurant for lunch was very good. Your guide was great. Informative and shared little bits of information about the area. ATV or Jeep is worth the money!!!! Sleeper bus is nice.

Such an awesome experience! The tour was quick, private, and the best way to see the city in just one day. Walking through the Fairy Stream in Mũi Né was magical—I even held a snake and walked through the warm river water! The sand dunes were the perfect ending, with stunning views and the best spot to snap some photos.

The Tour was excellent.
You start at the Nam Hai, 229 pham ngu lao street in district 1.
The bus journey was a nice way to catch up on sleep (it had wifi and some tv for entertainment) and once you finish the bus journey, you wait at the travel office in Mui Ne where you get food before you go on the tour. Our tour guide was great, the jeep ride everywhere was great too. We explored the fairy stream first, followed by some drinks, then a trip to the beach to view the fishing boats/market. Then a trip to the side of a beach where you can take pictures on the Jeep. Then we drove to the ATV/quadbike site where we rode on the quadbikes on the dunes (800k vietnamese dong for a quadbike which holds 2 people and a member sits next to you for safety). It's a 20min ride if you pay to drive the quads and they let you drive again if you need to shelter yourself from the rain. The other option cost the same but I think you only get 5mins and some pictures?
The ATVs/Quadbike dunes were super fun and highly recommended if you like a bit of thrill and don't mind a slightly bumpy ride. Just hold onto your belongings if the driver needs to take over to shelter you from the rain.
Then after you drive to the other Red Sand dunes, where if it's sunny/dry you can surf down the dunes as there's a lady who offers the sand carpet thing.
Then you finish and drive back to the travel office for the second round of food before you get back on the bus back home.
FYI, from the district 1 meeting point, you will take a mini van to transfer you to the main sleeper bus journey. But on the bus back, you wont need a transfer as it'll drop directly at district 1 meeting point. This was due to some traffic rules or so by the government.
Be prepared to get sand over you on this trip and maybe bring some wet wipes or a micro fibre towel to dry yourself.
Wear breathable clothes (or whatever you want when you get some aesthetic pictures on the jeep)
Bring a change of clothes in a waterproof bag in case you get caught in rain because it starts REAL fast and hard as you cant put on a poncho in time. My clothes got a bit wet but I managed to get dry on the sleeper bus back. Your shoes will need to be cleaned from the sand and dried once back.
Great fun highly recommend.

This particular tour company had the BEST sleeper bus.
Next time I will arrange to stay a couple of nights - the coastline was beautiful with many resort hotels.
The stream walk was way more comfortable in my crocs :)

Generally, I liked the tour, but for me Miu Ne itself felt a bit low-grade after visiting Phu Quoc. It is much dirtier and less beautiful. The fairy stream was nice as well as the view from the embankment. But the dunes were nothing impressive; we didn't have any sunset experience because it was cloudy and no sun. While travelling with the sleeping bus was very comfortable (and it is a fun experience especially for kids), this tour has more travelling and driving than actual activities.

An amazing experience that went beyond our expectations. The sleeper bus was so comfortable, felt like we were in first class via plane. Ly, our tour guide was friendly, gave us lots of info of the places we visited. Amazing experience! Even just the sleeper buses themselves are quite an experience- perfect for the late night ride back to the city. The guides are very capable and friendly! Would definitely recommend to anyone- just make sure to bring sunscreen, sunnies and flip flops (or crocs)! And pray for sunny weather 😊

This was the highlight of my trip to Ho Chi Minh. The tour was well organized and thoughtfully planned out. The sleeper buses were very comfortable and had wifi and charging ports. Once we arrived in Mui Ne, we were able to grab some lunch before embarking on our tour. The Fairy Stream was very peaceful and the sand dunes were picturesque. Lee was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area. Strongly recommend!

Although you have to travel to the pick-up spot by yourself, the provided instruction were clear, with pictures and map pins, and we had no trouble finding the place. The sleeper bus there and back was absolutely amazing, best way to travel for sure (includes complimentary water).
Upon arrival, we were given more water and there’s some free time for lunch (about 1 hour), not included in the tour price. The staff recommended some places nearby with a discount (one Pho place and one western-style), or there are other options around. If you don’t want to eat, you can go to the beach as it’s only a few steps away.
After lunch, we were allocated to a jeep, and were driven to the Fairy Stream. You can leave your stuff in the jeep (although they’re not locked), and I would recommend bringing flip flops at least. The scenery is beautiful, and the walk is very pleasant and not at all difficult – the water only goes over your feet or so (if you want to, you can take a picture with a snake, for an additional fee…). After the walk, we were given a complimentary drink that we pre-ordered before setting off. From there, we went to the fishing village (just a quick look around, about 10 min), and after that to the white sand dunes where we could either walk around or hire an ATV to be driven (or drive yourself, although the driver goes with you) to the top of the dunes. It was about VND300,000 per person to be driven, even if you share. You can pay by card, although it’s 3% more (as is every foreign card transaction). Afterwards, we went to the red sand dunes to watch the sun set (no ATV driving there, just walking, although you can do sand sledging in both locations).
Once we went back, we were given the evening snack which we pre-ordered upon arrival (choice of rice, noodles or a baguette with either chicken or pork), and headed back on an even more spacious sleeper bus.
Johnny Tours staff were great at every step.

First bus ride was a little confusing as nobody spoke English. If we didn't get a message before the tour, we wouldve been lost. The Johnny office was very small (not for big groups & only 1 bathroom) Once we arrived at the office Johnny advised everyone how the tour will go for the day and where we could go for lunch (POA) the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the long day.
