What are people saying about Ghent

Canny Kenny
Hugely enjoyable walking tour with Kenny who gives the group stacks of history deftly parceled up with well honed gags and a lifetime of local knowledge. But just a note to canny Kenny, and that’s to remember that during the Ghent Festival the tower of St. Bavo’s is open (it’s closed for the rest of the year apparently) so travelers who are up for the 422 steps can enjoy the view looking DOWN on the belfry/belfort, despite its claim to be taller.

Great tour!
It was only me and my husband, so the original tour was cancelled. But the guide Hans offered us a private tour for 50 euro. Hans was so nice and friendly! The tour was very interesting and we had A LOT to eat!😅No need for lunch that day!😅Best was the cheese and mustard in the end with 3 kinds of beer!😊

Our tour guide Kenny was...
Our tour guide Kenny was very engaging and personable. The tour was a good mix of general history and culture with a dose of the dark and twisted. We also hit some beautiful spots that were social media worthy. The tour guide wrapped up the evening with great recommendations of sites to see and even provided discounts to several attractions and coupons for free beer. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour, great stories, and tasty treats
We had an excellent experience. Nick took our family on our tour of Belgium, answering questions along the way and keeping things light and entertaining. We got to taste a variety of chocolates and candies throughout, from the very traditional and chain-store variety to locally hand made and eclectic. I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience both the city and its treats. It won’t disappoint.
