Great Experience
I was traveling with my husband and two teenage boys. Of course the boys were much faster than me and took off. Jon, our guide stayed with me and helped to make sure I made it back up from the hike. The views were beautiful. Jon was very knowledgeable and tailored the hike to the needs of our whole family. We had a great experience

Long day but worth it!
Traveling during their low season was great, more flexible schedule. Our drive/guide, Sam, was fantastic! So knowledgeable about the tribes, geology, hiking trails, places to visit and eat. The company partnered with Dixie’s (Navajo) to access the slot canyon. Groups of 15 people. Eli, our guide, shared history of this land/canyon; helped us take awesome pictures; played his Navajo Flute in the canyon (beautiful music).

Private hiking tour of a LIFETIME!
My husband and I travelled to Las Vegas for Formula 1, and decided to do the drive to the Canyon for the last day of our mini-vacation. We had less than 24 hours to spend in the Grand Canyon Village, and in order to maximize the experience, booked the private guided tour with Jon. Maximum experience is exactly what we received!
The hike experience, trail selection, and timing were all carefully tailored to match our expectations, weather, fitness level, etc. Starting the hike in the afternoon, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and while there were smaller crowds in the first few lookouts including the famous Ooh Aah Point, Jon knew we were ready to put in the work to get the extra special views inside the Canyon. We ended in Skeleton Point, with not another soul on the trail, watching the sunset, and eating a delicious home-cooked meal. The 4.5h hike was bookended by an awesome after-dark hike back to the beginning of the trail, with headlamps and a sky full of stars.
Everything from personal Camelbaks full of nutritious snacks, water, electrolytes, hats, sunscreen, hiking poles, and everything else you might need, was provided, and above all, absolutely elite vibes. Jon is knowledgeable and laid back, talking you through hiking etiquette and optimal hiking form, sprinkled in with genuine humour.
It was hands down the most special private hiking tour experience we've had - the Grand Canyon is beyond breathtaking and after hiking into the Canyon, we would recommend everyone that is able to, to take advantage of this experience with Jon and his team.

Don't hesitate! Book THIS Grand Canyon tour!
SERVICE: Within minutes of booking, we were contacted by the service provider to confirm the booking and finalize activity details (e.g., meeting/pickup location, lunch selection, etc.). Check-in on the day of our excursion was equally professional and efficient.
FACILITIES: We chose to meet our guide at the office. The facilities are clean and comfortable, with coffee on the ready and a restroom. Some interactive displays on the Grand Canyon prime you for the trip.
GUIDE: If you can request a guide, ask for Danya. She is very knowledgeable, extremely personable, and flexible. She has hiked the Canyon many times, resulting in an experience that took us to some less trafficked spots incorporating stunning views and short hikes along the rim. Her knowledge of the land was a bonus - we enjoyed conversing about the geology, plant life, and other facets that one would not normally expect. You simply can't go wrong with Danya!
WHAT TO EXPECT: Tour stops were excellently planned, allowing for restroom breaks. Water, snacks, and lunch are provided. Depending on when you visit, plan for weather. It can get chilly on the North and South rims. Bring a jacket so you can layer as needed. Last pro tip: bring some cash so you can tip your guide.

Fun and interesting.
Learned a lot about flagstaff including some spooky and interesting events. Mike did a great job. Glad we went on this tour. It was fun not too spooky. Liked the history too. When we got back to our room (not at one of the haunted hotels) There was a draw that wouldn't stay closed......maybe we brought a ghost back with us?

The Majesty of the Grand Canyon
From the several tourist points of the Grand Canyon National Park, you only get to view 10% of the Canyon. And even still the beauty changes from one moment to the next based on the time of day, the position of the sun, and as clouds pass. Our tour guide, John, proved to be extremely knowledgeable of the history and geology of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed his humor and how he continually put the size of the canyon into perspective. Using one point of reference (The Watch Tower) he would explain how far away that point was from our current viewpoint. As we drew closer to that point, it went from a tiny smudge to a 5-story structure. We quickly realized just how LARGE the canyon was.
John's knowledge of the history of the Grand Canyon was quickly seen at every point we visited. His eagerness to show off this wonder of the world excited us at every stop. He was very passionate during his presentations of every point we visited.
With John's knowledge in the canyon's history and its geology, and the sheer beauty of the colors you witness in the layers of history before you, the Grand Canyon is a MUST experience. We were lucky to have had John as our guide. We would recommend one or two days with a guide, then return to soak it all up for another day or two.
I feel it important to note, that when visiting the Grand Canyon. there will be walking. If you're not use to being at an altitude above 6000 feet, remember to take it slow and have plenty of water with you. John made sure he had water, gatorade, and some light snacks on hand. We would definitely do it all again if we had John with us as a guide.

WOW first time zip...
WOW first time zip lining. This was so much fun. And getting to see the animals from above was just as amazing. The two young gentleman that guided us through the experience was very safety oriented and so knowledgeable about the animals. Would definitely do this again and recommend to any age group. 10/16/25

Well organised day trip
Keaton arrived exactly at the arranged time and we had a quick trip up to the Canyon. There were only 9 of us on the trip so we only had two stops to pick people up en route. At the Canyon we visited several viewing spots on the South and East rim. Keaton explained a lot about the geology and history of the Canyon. Lunch at Maswik Lodge was provided - very tasty. We had a great day out.

Awesome trip. Our guide...
Awesome trip. Our guide (Dominick) was non-stop with fun and interesting information and preparing us for what we would see. I didn't realize that we would have open sided vehicle tour thru Monument Valley. This was not a problem, I just would have dressed differently if I had known it would be so dusty.

Exceptional tour of...
Exceptional tour of antelope canyon and a few stops along the way. Our guide Brian was excellent and engaging and great history lessons and our Navajo guide took incredible pictures on our cameras. The upper canyon is most picturesque and easy in and out. Definitely recommend this tour
