No overcrowding this is a semi-private excursion. A maximum of 12 guests will enjoy a 4 hr trip from St. Thomas to St John. At one of the many snorkel spots around St John (Trunk or Maho Bay, Christmas Cove) or nearby uninhabited Cays (Mingo, Lovango or Stevens) you will have snorkeling gear to explore coral reefs that are home to tropical fish such as snapper, parrotfish, sturgeonfish, squirrelfish and other sea life including swimming with turtle. Once the group is finished snorkeling, enjoy complimentary soda and beer. After snorkeling, we will whisk you away to either Hawksnest Bay or Honeymoon Beach at Caneel Bay (weather dependent). Perhaps the prettiest beaches in the Virgin Islands, you will enjoy the white sand beach and crystal blue waters. It was discovered and built by Laurence Rockefeller in 1956 while sailing on a family cruise. Beautiful beaches

On time and pleasant. Beaches were beautiful. Minimal time at lookouts. Trunk beach was beautiful. No life guards or anyone to assist you with the snorkeling . Staff renting equipment were very nice. Bring your own towels since they are not available to rent.

St. John Island Tour and Beach Escapes the Crowd

This ended up being a small group tour of 7 total. Our driver met us at the cruise port promptly and got us to the ferry on time. Get your ferry tickets in advance, the tour company will send you the link and the time to book. We made it with 5 minutes to spare because of a slow truck in front of us, it's a bit of a drive. After the enjoyable ferry ride, our next driver, Kenneth, greeted us and gave us an informative island tour in his open air vehicle. Fun experience on the hilly roads, we enjoyed the beautiful viewpoints and learning about the Annaberg Sugarcane Plantation with its vile history told on many signboards. The highlight was swimming and snorkeling at beautiful, uncrowded Trunk Bay Beach.

This was an amazing experience. Both the driver who transported us to/from.our Hotel and tour guide was great. Kenneth-(tour guide) was extremely informative, patient and very knowledgeable about the history. We had a fabulous time.
