This was our first time visiting St. John so we decided to book a tour. Let me start by saying that Hibiscus was an amazing tour guide-super knowledgeable about the island’s history and culture. We loved the way she talked about the island’s rich history and its incredible landscape. If there are people we know that will be visiting the island, we will 100% recommend and say they should request Hibiscus. This was a special experience.

It was raining the entire time and there were flood warnings o our phones often. The guide offered us to take the tour inside the truck instead of sitting in the open getting all wet. We still were able to roll down the window for pictures. We had the ability to ask questions & chat with him the entire trip.
While I wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the beaches and bars and more of St John, we appreciated him not canceling due to just us 2 on the tour. We don’t have any other chance to see the island.

This trip with history, island info, views of all the beaches, some of the historical sites, & mountain top views was a great thing to do at the beginning of our week. Ron was an amazing, knowledgeable & professional guide providing it all along with a smile & his well known positive attitude.

Be ready to take many pictures for future reminders of the beauty of St. John. If you are able to walk them, don't miss the walking trails (we weren't able but wish we were), and enjoy learning the history of St. John and it's growth from early on. Ron was a great tour guide having grown up on the island. So many personal experiences he brought to our tour and oooohhhhh the history!

Incredible overview of St John's and it's beauty.
Our guide, Hibiscus, was very knowledgeable of the history and culture of her island. She took great pride in sharing information about her ancestors' connection to the island.
We enjoyed seeing the many beaches and bays of St John, as well as the remains of the Annaberg Sugar Mill.
It was a great tour that my wife and I highly recommend.

A relaxed-paced tour of St. John. Ron, our host, was great. He filled us in on the history of the island and made certain we saw all the important features (beaches). My husband and I did the 2.5 hour tour and loved it! It was our first time on St. John, and we wanted a local expert to show us the island. We learned a lot, and we figured out which beaches and hiking trails we wanted to go back to on our own later during our trip.
