Sure, you can drive yourself up to the top as well as Garden of the Gods, but you miss the wealth of knowledge provided by the tour guides. Our guide “Ponderosa” was brilliant with his knowledge and history of the mountain and area. He was great with my wife and kids and had an amazing conversation. Starting point was easy to find. While pricey, when you have a knowledgeable driver you can take in all the scenery and leave the driving to the experts. Along the way we got interesting tidbits about the history of Pikes Peak and stopped at some prime viewing spots on the way up and down. Kevin kept us engaged and interested and attended to all our needs. The jeep was comfortable and allowed for great viewing. They had snacks and water to enjoy and took family photos for us. Easy meet up and drop off point. We felt like it was money well spent to see the Peak. Thanks for the memories!

The Broadmoor Falconry experience was, without question, one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. It has been on my bucket list for years, and it exceeded every expectation. Getting to interact with these magnificent birds was unforgettable. Learning about their behavior, history, and the art of falconry then actually having them perch on your gloved hand is something I'll remember for the rest of my life. A huge thank you to Deanna, who made the entire experience exceptional. She was funny, knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about both the birds and the centuries-old tradition of falconry. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she made everyone feel comfortable and excited throughout the session. If you want to see Garden of the Gods this tour is the way to go. My daughter and my self did it and it was awesome. Chris the tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
