Magnificent day getting out of the city
Great guide Marc was very communicative before the trip and during the day, where we viewed the Rhine falls and the eastern part of the lush mountains of Appenzell, including the village, a cheese factory, a chocolate factory, and a picnic. Highly recommended, you could never do this much in 8 hours without a guide, and we all had a great time.

A must do excursion!!!
Martin is a one of a kind in this industry. So informative, patient, and allows you to do things at your pace and never feel rushed. This experience is a MUST DO if you are in the area. It is a full day excursion with some driving, but the sites during the drive are breath taking! And then the Chocolate factory and Cheese factory experiences were exceptional.....AND TASTY :). Plenty of time to taste and buy some souvenirs. And then we had the best weather and views to ride up to the mountain top for even more spectacular views! Just amazing! Overall, PLEASE choose this excursion. It is worth your time and money to have this one of a kind experience. Thank you Martin!!!

Highly recommend this incredible must-see tour!
Absolutely AMAZING experience!!! Our tour guide, Joseph, was very professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and accommodating. And the actual sites - St. Gallen, the Luftseilbahn Brülisau–Hoher Kasten, Einsiedeln, Liechtenstein, and the Läderach chocolate factory - were all spectacular and absolute must-sees.

  • Not all of Appenzell is easily accessible for wheelchair users; check access arrangements with your tour operator ahead of time.
  • Summertime visitors should still pack a layer or two, as the pre-Alpine village gets chilly.
  • The wider canton boasts several hiking and cycling routes, ideal for active travelers.
