Q: What's the difference between Eze Village and Eze-sur-Mer?

Don't confuse Eze Village with Eze-sur-Mer. Eze Village is on the hilltop, and Eze-sur-Mer is the village sur mer (on the sea). You can only get between the two by hiking the Nietzsche Path (which takes a few hours) or driving. By train, you'll end up at Eze-sur-Mer.

Nice way to explore

I loved the fact that it was a smaller van with just three other couples. It was a nice way to explore the region. I specifically enjoyed Eze and Turbie but Monte Carlo was a one of for us. Not sure if I would go back there. But a driver was nice and the views were stunning.

Definitely worth having...

Definitely worth having someone drive you from Nice rather than drive on your own. The stop at the Perfume factory was interesting and of course turns into an added expense for shopping which we did. Monte Carlo is a must see however the casino was closed until 2pm so don’t expect to be able to enter the game rooms. All in all was worth the days experience.
