Tickets to the prehistoric Necropolis of Anghelu Ruju (Necropoli di Anghelu Ruju) start at around €7 for adults and €5 for residents of Alghero, young people aged 6–17, and students. Multilingual audio guides are available for €2. Tickets are available on-site and can be purchased by card or payment services via your phone.

This prehistoric burial ground is located about 15 minutes north of Alghero, and there is no public transportation that stops near the site entrance. Join a tour that includes round-trip transportation from Alghero for hassle-free travel logistics. Alternatively, you can visit with a rental car—there is a free unpaved parking area near the entrance.

There are no guided tours at the necropolis, but you can rent an audio guide to explore the ancient burial site on your own. Otherwise, book a private guided tour to cover the highlights in about an hour. Some tours also include round-trip transportation from Alghero and a stop at the nearby Nuraghe di Palmavera.

This prehistoric site is partially accessible via a packed-earth path that is suitable for wheelchairs and passes close to several burial chambers. Some areas of the site have uneven ground that is not accessible. The parking area, restrooms, and small site museum are all accessible for visitors with wheelchairs.

The Nuraghe di Palmavera is around a 10-minute drive from the Necropolis of Anghelu Ruju, and many travelers visit both sites. Spiaggia di Mugoni, Spiaggia di Lazzaretto, and Cala Dragunara offer nearby beach breaks, while the Porto Conte nature reserve is ideal for a scenic hike or bike ride.
