- You will get a life jacket , a helmet and a paddle, plus long neoprene suit and a rain jacket in case of cold weather. Waterproof containers are available for personal items (camera, drinks, etc.). Don’t forget to bring shorts or a bathing suit, a T-shirt, water shoes, a towel, sun cream and water. In case of colder weather take a long-sleeved shirt.
- Weather - the summers are typically warm and sunny. From May to October temperatures are comfortable for hiking, paddling, and swimming. Rain is always a possibility in Croatia so it is essential to bring adequate rain wear and a jacket in case of inclement weather. In the unlikely case of extreme weather conditions we will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior or after the date booked, if possible. If the rescheduling is not possible, the payments will be refunded in full.

Had an amazing time and our tour guide Adam was awesome! Quite the adventure and highly recommend for having a great time in Zadar! Pack a lunch and you are set to go! We had breaks for swimming and cooling off on a hot day! Great tome talking to others in our small group. Our family truly enjoyed this trip. The tour lasted about four hours, and we covered around ten kilometers at a light yet steady, sporty pace. We made three short stops along the way, which was just right — though I’d say the pace suits someone with a bit of prior experience in such adventures.
The surrounding nature was absolutely breathtaking, and our child was thrilled throughout the journey. The highlight, of course, was going down a three-meter drop with the boat — an unforgettable moment!
If you appreciate active outdoor experiences, this tour is definitely worth it. Special thanks to our wonderful guides, Andrei and Matej, for their great support and energy.

We enjoyed a cracking day on the river, the thunderstorm was wild but that didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves - especially when the sun appeared. 10km is a bit more intense than we thought but Becky and Santos looked after us and kept us motivated and safe. Thanks

Excellent trip. Highly recommend!
Do take water shoes or you can rent them for 3 euros. Bring lunch. We had a 25 minute stop for lynch and swim in the middle. Started with paddling and small waterfalls then some slightly bigger ones and ended with the biggest one. Only one person in the boat goes down and it's really fun! I was able to use one of the guides boats so we both got to experience it. Or you can jump over the falls which also looked fun. Excellent guides. They like to splash you but we got pretty good at splashing them too! A final 20 minute paddle to where we pulled out the boats. You can change there if you want and also get food and drinks. After a short stop there the van took us back to the starting point. A very fun day!

A great adventure with beautiful scenery. Our tour guide Sarah was very good and considerate of our abilities. She remained with us throughout the entire tour and assisted us whenever we ran into a bit of struggle. There is a lot of rowing on the kayak and the trip was a bit longer than we anticipated but the experience and the scenery along the way was all worth it. The water is a bit cold, but in the warm weather was very refreshing. All in all it was a great day and our group enjoyed every second of it.

We had such a great time on this tour. The guides were amazing and the scenery was breathtaking. The water was so clear. We got a lovely sunny day for our trip which made the difference. When you arrive you’re greeted by the most welcoming team, you should arrive half an hour before your excursion time as stated in the instructions. This gives you time to get changed, use the bathroom, collect your equipment etc. you are provided with a life jacket, a helmet and some water shorts. I think they had water shoes too if you needed them but we took our own. Take your spare clothes in a separate bag, they’re put in a box and then will be waiting for you at the finish point. You’re then taken down to the water, given clear instructions and then off you go. There were plenty of guides out on the water with you. It’s an activity for any age and any ability and is very safe. There are small rapids along the way that you’re given instructions of how to manage them, however the guides will get into the water and make sure you get through them alright. There is a large waterfall that you have to get out of the kayak and walk around. The ground that you walk down is very rocky and you have to carry your things and paddle so make sure you have appropriate footwear. Near the end there is a small waterfall that one person per kayak can go down. The other will take your stuff and walk down and meet you at the bottom. At the end of the tour you are greeting with your dry clothes where you can get changed. There’s also a place for your to buy a refreshment if you wanted. There is a stopping place along the tour for you to eat your packed lunch or a snack so remember to pack something. When you’re finished you will hop on a little minibus and you’re driven back to the start (about twenty mins). Overall a great experience and very good value for money.

Fantastic experience, we loved going down the rapids and waterfalls. Make sure you have suitable footwear as there is a couple of rocky parts to climb over out of the kayak. Even the rain didn’t spoil it

This fulk day spent in the river was amazing! Our guide Fabian was excellent and funny. Unfortunately, I lost my sunglasses in the river but it did not have an impact on the overall experience. We all enjoyed this wonderful day.

Really great place, untouched nature and crystal clear (and cold) water but with hot temperature outside a welcome refreshment.
Well organized and really friendly team. Good introduction and swimming vest, helmet and barrel for personal stuff for everyone. Boats in good condition. We enjoyed the trip with our kids and had some rests for food and drinks.
Our children liked the jump from the waterfall. The team took us to a bar (the end point). After that you were driven to the beginning to get your car. Don't forget dry clothes and cash, sunscreen as 100% recommendation for the tour!

Great trip, well worth the money. The transfer bus was waiting for us exactly where and when it said and driver was nice chap spoke perfect English. Me and three friends did this trip and met four other English people also coming into our transfer bus from Zadar to the river Zrmanja, journey takes just over 1 hour and is very scenic. The river is fab, not cold but so clear, you want to jump in any chance. The kayaks are decent and the training is quick and basic but it is ample, there really isn't much too it. Kayaks are double manned and in all i think there was about 20 kayaks on our tour, so 40 people of a mixture of nationalities but all fun and friendly. You start at the top of the river and kayak for about 4 hours, with a break in the middle to eat your packed lunch. Bring proper trainers or sandals that buckle, dont bring anything that will slip off when walking as at one point you have to abandon your kayak (it gets pushed over a large waterfall empty), whilst you scale a path which is very untamed, and is a pain to navigate with sliders on (trust me, my feet kept flying out the front of them). That was advice i wish i had been told, other than that the event is what you will hope for, breathtaking river cutting through untamed gorge, lovely water, clear as crystal with a few rapids to navigate and one 10 foot drop (only one person per kayak allowed for this), which is super safe and great fun.

It was a very beautiful river to canoe and very nice guides. They highly valued safety and were flexible to support even when someone was tired to let them join the guide on their canoe whilst they tow the empty canoe behind them. It is great exercise and doable on any level. If your first time or you've done it before, everyone will find something they will really enjoy during the trip.

Awesome trip in wonderful nature. The view was beautiful during the whole Safari. The guides could have been more communicative, sometimes it was unclear why and how long we had to wait in our canoe and we had to wait at the ending point for one hour. But all in all it was so much fun

Fantastic day, away from the heat! As long as you have a hat and long sleeves this can be the best day of your holiday...great guides, very careful and thoughtful. The river is so clean, u can spot local plants, wild mint, sage. I loved every minute of it. Eat a big breakfast or take a packed lunch. At the end there is a bar waiting so don t forget some cash.

A great day trip and would have been perfect and given 5 stars if the trip had included some lunch and refreshments and if the return form the finishing point to the starting point had been better organized. The guides were excellent and very professional. Be prepared to work quite hard as it is not really a beginners activity.
