We had a great great 90 minute tour with Doria around the lovely city of Zadar. Doria was very well versed in all the sites and told us lots of interesting facts. She was particularly interesting when giving us a lot of background to the history of the city and of Croatia and indeed of old Yugoslavia. We really enjoyed the tour and would certainly recommend it to visit us to the city.

Brilliant tour highly recommended. Our tour guide met us promptly at the location given (land gate). She was friendly and informative throughout the entire tour. We learned a lot about the history of zadar and was taken into some shops for free samples of the local cheese and liquor. I would highly recommend!

The day of our tour with Dorja we had torrential rain with thunder and lightning but we weren't let down. Dorja showed up for us even though it was just myself and my girlfriend that booked that day. She was very professional and delivered all the interesting information of Zadar's Old Town and more very well even though it was definitely difficult with the heavy rain. I would highly recommend this tour with Dorja

Dorja was a great! Our tour was in the old town and we met at the Sun Greeting on the coast. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Zadar and answered our questions openly. She also showed us local businesses like the Maraska Liquor and a cheese shop where we were able to taste tasted the locally produced items. It was a great tour and exactly what we were looking for in Zadar.

Susanne you booked the shortest, cheapest tour I offer here, the itinerary is written. We talked enough about other things besides churches, food, history since you were alone. I did what I believe guides are payed to do and that is to interpret, culture, nature, tradition, history, everything and Zadar has plenty, within the limited time. If that's 'lecturing' then guided tours are simply not for you. For future customers if you're alone in the group you should mention your preferences at the beginning so the guide doesn't talk about things you are not interested in or can't visit and if there are other people, the tour can't look as if the guide has private conversations with customers instead of an actual tour and that's a guide talking about the city you are sightseeing. People who need more time to be heard of or like to manipulate the tour's course, decide when will the guide talk about a monument or not should look for a 3+h private tour with someone else because my agency doesn't offer that kind of tour here.

Our tour guide Danja was fabulous and very knowledgeable about Zadar. She shared many personal experiences and knowledge. The only issue we had with the tour is that is started 1/2 hour after scheduled. For some reason the tour guide was not notified by Viator that a tour was scheduled and thus we had to call the guide and wait for her to arrive. We do not feel this was a reflection on the tour guide but a “glitch” in the viator system.
