There was no guide - what did I pay for?

I received no communication that I was the only person who signed up. Nor was I told if I was the only person, that there would be no guide. I get to the park and my driver is confused about the setup, the park ranger has no idea about any guided hiking I show up and there’s no guide, no explanation, just told I can buy my pass as the visitor desk and go on the hike alone. And now I’m being told there’s no refund even though the only thing I received from the description was my hotel pickup

Your tour was booked on the evening prior to the scheduled departure, and our team promptly sent you the necessary details, including the guide's information and the pickup time. We respectfully note that your statement suggesting there was no guide and that you were instructed to hike alone may be misleading to future guests. Our records indicate that a guide had been assigned and arrangements were communicated accordingly. We understand your decision to cancel the trip, which appears to have been based on the group size. While we typically require a minimum number of participants to operate, we made an exception in your case to accommodate your last-minute request rather than cancel the tour altogether. Please note, as per our policy, cancellations made after the tour has commenced are not eligible for refunds. Should you wish to revise your review to reflect the specifics of the situation more accurately, we would greatly appreciate it.
