Easy pick up and went to the Okapuka Lodge. Great guides and picnic provided by them. The lodge ia super nice with wifi available.

The original venue was not available due to flooding as a result of heavy rain the previous day. The tour operator did a fine job to find an alternative and today was a beautiful sunny day.

From pick up to drop off, this was a great experience. We were able to see elephants, kudos, oryx, baboons, wilder beasts, and many more animals. The snacks and drinks at sunset was everything. I highly recommend this experience!

The tour itself was good. Chameleon tours transfer van managed to get stuck in a very small amount of water. The farm picked us up and gave us a very good excursion but we ended in the dark without a van. There was communication and we didn’t know how we would get back to Windhoek. It was cold, dark and we were hungry! It was the farm staff who were left with the responsibility and solved the problem.

The fact that our guide practised caution when driving through the water and not just speeding through it indicates that we are not reckless and value the safety of our clients.
We contacted the farm to ensure they collected you for the activity and asked them to assist our guide. The only reason you had to wait until after dark was that the farm delayed providing the requested assistance for more than four hours.
I hope you enjoy any further travels in Namibia.

This tour is great, there’s a good selection of animals and you can get pretty close without agitating the animals.
The area is beautiful and there was plenty of water available throughout the tour if you didn’t bring any.
Our guide Festus made everyone feel comfortable immediately and was more than happy to answer all our questions.

I had the opportunity to make a half day trip to Düsternbrook with Chameleon Safaris, and what can I say, I will never forget it. Everything and everything was perfect! Especially thanks to the wonderful people Shaka and Festus, who accompanied us and of whom we learned a lot about animals, country and culture of Namibia.
We saw more animals than expected and enjoyed every single moment. Altogether highly recommended!

Wow! This was such an incredible experience. I booked the day before I went but received a confirmation email right away. I was picked up at exactly 2 pm from my hotel in Windhoek by Joseph. There was only one other guest on my tour and he was already picked up. We drove ~ 1 hr to the area where the safari would be taking place. We had 30 mins to use the bathroom & see the main accommodation area and that on its own was spectacular!! Our driver for the safari met us around 3:30 pm and we took off and when I say I’ve never experienced something so breath taking, I mean it. We saw hippos, zebra, giraffes, oryx, kudu, impala, baboons. The driver had an excellent eye and he took his time with telling us about the animals we saw! He made sure we got great photos before driving off to look for the next animals. We ended the 3 hr drive at the highest point on the grounds, enjoyed a cold beer, and had some snacks - meatballs, nuts, pretzels, etc. This view was absolutely amazing with 360° views of the surrounding areas.
I truly could not recommend this tour itself and if I ever find myself back in Namibia, I will definitely be taking another one with this company.

We were picked up one hour before the appointment and brought back to hotel one hour later than agreed.
The leopard feeding is too fake, those poor animals.
The rest of the tour was nice and our guide was friendly, but we didn’t even see that many animals.
I would not do this tour again, but we still enjoyed it.

This was a great tour. I had a private driver who picked me up from my hotel and waited for me the entire time during both tours. I really enjoyed the leopard and cheetah feedings especially, and the other tour was great too. We saw giraffes, impala, springbok, onyx, zebras, hippos, and other species. Highly recommended!

A very affordable trip, with two parts - one is a cat feeding tour and the other a longer, general tour. During the feeding tour you get very close to the felines (but it's super safe) and I found out a lot of great information about them. Then the second tour offer a lot of animal sightings including hippos, giraffes, several species of antelope, ostriches, rhinos and others. Got a lot of good photos.
All the animals are in very good shape and have a lot of space. All in all a good visit that was also very educational.
