It was a nice trip and our guide was good.
If you have limited time in rejkyavik, then you should definitely doctrinal trip.

My recent experience with Troll.is on the Snaefellsness Peninsula tour was disappointing. The guide's attitude was poor, driving skills subpar, and the itinerary felt rushed. Communication issues in English further hindered the experience. Overall, I would not recommend Troll.is for future tours.

Long but fabulous day. Lots of short stops which we loved with enough time to take pictures and absorb each place. Hilde our guide was wonderful! It did get a little uncomfortable on the long drive home though with a full minibus but it's worth it.

We did a full day tour with Max on the peninsula out of Reykjavik. Our guide was wonderful. He was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful. The bus was spotless and the sights were amazing. We saw a ton and hit many iconic places on our route. Would definitely recommend this tour, this guide, and this company.

Katerina was awesome. However, this tour was too much time in a minibus, people getting back to the bus well after the requested times, no seals, crowded and uncomfortable minibus, and I could have one something much more fun.

Absolutely gorgeous peninsula! Every stop was special.
Our guide was very knowledgable and kind. Would highly recommend this tour!

Be sure to be well rested as this is a long 11-hour day (picked up at 8 and dropped off at 7). The driver/guide, Hildy, was excellent. Such a pleasure that she spoke fluent American English (she lived in Ann Arbor for a dozen years). She entertained us with tales from the Icelandic sagas. And she was very conscientious with breaks for the bathroom. A caution-- this is not a tour for folks who do not walk well or have bad knees. My husband and I were probably the eldest customers on this tour (in our late 70's and early 80's). Everyone else was young. Several of the stops require negotiating rocky downhill paths. Getting down to the black sand beach was challenging for me. But the long walk at Arnarstapi was via a nice easy path.

Tour guide was engaging and informative. We saw many amazing sites. It was a long day, but the guide helped with the long bus hours by telling us about the culture, history, and places we were driving past and walking around.

Wonderful tour! Got to see so much in one day. Corrina was my tour guide and was great in being the guide and bus driver. She gave lots information and history during the drive and was very knowledgeable. It was a small bus tour which was great and everyone respected the time. Beautiful places that you must go see

What a wonderful time to watch the whales. It is absolutely an unforgettable experience to see the giant culture playing in water. Love it.

A great tour of many wonderful sights, from seal colonies to majestic cliffs to picturesque mountains, waterfalls, churches and villages. Our guide Thora did an excellent job describing it all and even gave us a bonus stop. I cannot think of a better way to use a day in Iceland. Highly recommended.

Great itinerary, visiting beautiful places travelling in a comfortable mini bus. The guide was very nice and made the trip very interesting. Highly recommended.

Waterfalls, cliffs/coastline, seals.
Viking ship rock face, 600step crater
The tour had some amazing sites and beautiful landscapes.

The trip was the best one that we had in Iceland. It was a wonderful experience!!!
The peninsula is really, really beautiful!
We visited the seals' bay 🦭 and we were lucky to see more than 7 seas lying on the beach rocks!!! 🦭 🦭 🦭
We saw also wonderful other places that were very interesting and beautiful.
What was the best part of the trip was our guide Siggy - he was a great travel guide. He gave us very interesting info about the trip sights, joked a lot and was a great companion. We really enjoyed travelling and talking with him.
We did have a wonderful time.
We do recommend the trip to all interested in Iceland's nature beauty.

Unfortunately, the weather was terrible. Very high winds. We were told they were 27 meters/sec. We could get out of the van to take some photos at risk of being totally soaked. Very disappointing but this has nothing to do with Jon. The weather was out of his control.

A long day but worth it for the beautiful scenery. Our guide was friendly and very informative, lots of facts on history and geography, but also insights on Icelandic life. We saw a few seals on the rocky beach (you might get your feet wet walking out).
Alexis_A, Jun 2024
Bring a binocular if you want to see the seal up close, this is also the time to flex your expensive camera lens because it will serve its purpose.
Bring a lot of patience in travel time because this is a national park and so the locations are scattered around the area.
For me, the highlight of this trip is the lava field filled with moss- amazing!! and the perfect Kirkjufell Mountain - kidding aside, because of its perfect shape it seems that the Zoldyck family lives at the top of this mountain lol.

Aurnie showed us some special spots on this beautiful peninsula. The attraction is the beauty of the scenery. Rock formation, the coastline, black beach and the extinct caldera were highlights. Great tour

We took 3 day tours while here in Iceland and this was our favorite...our tour guide Thora was awesome!!! This tour included lots of stops that are not as famous or commercialized as some of our other tours but the scenery of the west coast took our breaths away!!! Highly recommended!!!

Normally I wouldn’t book a coach trip but as I had onto a few days to experience this wonderful country I thought that the best way would be to use a local company for their knowledge and to see as many places as possible in the short time there. I wasn’t disappointed in what I saw but what is frustrating is that you are on someone else’s schedule and didn’t spent long enough time in some places and too long in others imo. The coach driver was friendly but wasn’t very talkative and I think we did miss out on some of that local knowledge. Despite this I would recommend a small coach/ party instead of a large one. Yes it’s costly but you aren’t navigating 59 other people and only a group of 17/18.

First of all thank you our guide that waiting us at the beginning of the day. We missed out meeting point because I didn’t notice message that sent a day before trip to pick up at bus stop instead of hotel that was chosen in Viator app. It will be better if inform us in advance since we booked. And weather was not that good since snowy cloudy sky, we couldn’t see Kirkjufell hiding under mass cloudy and at this stop guide didn’t come down from a van to lead us. The rest was good he skip the crater because of safety and led us to the safe place to visit.
Stacey_W, Mar 2024
The beach where we got out was extremely cold and there was a rather dangerous trek to the bottom due to the snow and ice. But the overcast snowy gloominess was very beautiful and made for some perfect photos. The tour, honestly, probably should have been canceled and refunded because the snow was so bad we couldn’t even see many of the sights we were supposed to see. The tour guide seemed knowledgeable but he kind of started the tour on a sour note because he was complaining about some of the tour participants who were confused about where they were to be picked up so we just had to wait a few minutes for them. Out of 4 tours we did this week we also had some confusion on pickup locations on 3 of them so I could relate.

Gil was a knowledgable and humorous guide. He took good care of us. The beaches and coastline were interesting.
Yan_C, Mar 2024
This is a very organized tour. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable. The tour takes about 11 hours but we enjoyed the trip for the whole time and did not feel tired at all.

Very fast and enjoyable day exploring Snaefellsnes. I would highly recommend getting out of Reykjavik by taking a one or two day small group tour.
Andrea_G, Feb 2024
Such a wonderful day. My daughter and I saw sights we shall never forget. Tour guide was brilliant too. Long day, 12 hours in all but so worth it.
sam_y, Feb 2024
It could’ve been a super dreamy and awesome day, but unfortunately due to our guide Gudni it was just a “okay” day. He unfortunately didn’t managed to create a nice and pleasant atmosphere whit-in the bus and between the other passengers. The heather fore instance was way too hot, and after couple times of asking he still didn’t achieve to turnoff the heather. This took at least 2 hours (the trip itself was 10 hours). So imagine that you are starting your trip like this. The other thing I didn’t liked was the lack of leading. There were no clear comeback times and a lack of time management…
Mohammad_E, Feb 2024
It was a really fun experience with a knowledgeble guide (Gudrin; I know I am not writing the name right). We saw so many things with well timed stops for food and bathroom.
Nancy_N, Jan 2024
Oskar was an amazing tour guide and gave fun facts along the trip. The day was filled with stops (above and beyond the ones already listed). Views were breathtaking
SilviaMatilda_A, Jan 2024
This was our first tour in Iceland so naturally we were amazed by the magnificent sights we saw during this trip. The pick-up was trouble free, and right from the start our guide was very informative. At the Ytri Tunga beach unfortunately we did not see the seals but the sight of having the mountains and the beach so close to each other was definitely special. Another highlight of the trip from was Djupalonssandur beach which we baptised the Oreo Beach due to the contrast of the black sand and white snow. There were other highlights such as the famous black church and the other mountainous range and the famous peak from Game of Thrones. The trip is fairly long so make sure that you bring some light snacks with you.
