My tour guide was awesome and grew up in Alexandria and was amazing to give us his story as well as the ghost stories

We enjoyed Lilian she was very friend entertaining. The ghost stories were fun. The tour was just the right length.

This was a fun way to see Old Alexandria, hear some great stories and view all the fun Halloween decorations. Our guide, Aslin, did a great job!

It was a fun experience, and not very expensive, but we didn't feel we learned much. There were maybe three stories total, and one was something that was 10 blocks away from our location. We were hoping for a bit more spookiness and history. Our guide was lovely, though, and clearly loved her job. There just wasn't enough information to keep us engaged.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your guide, but we’d love the chance to give you a fuller experience next time. Please reach out to ghostandgraveyardtour@gmail.com
— we’d love to get you on another tour to show you what we’re truly known for: spooky stories and rich history!

Fun and informative. Less of a true ghost tour and more of a tour of scary stories. But you get to see a different side of the history of Old Town. Had a good time and would do the other tour they offer more towards north Old Town.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed exploring a different side of Old Town’s history with us. Our tours are designed to blend folklore, ghost stories, and real history — and we’d love for you to experience our North Route next time for a new perspective on Alexandria’s haunted past.

It was a nice walking path. However, the storytelling left more to be desired. Maybe it was the guides off day, but it felt boring at many moments.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the walking path, but we’re sorry the storytelling didn’t meet expectations during your tour. While everyone can have an off day, we aim to deliver a consistently engaging and memorable experience. We’d really appreciate the opportunity to make it right—please feel free to reach out to us at ghostandgraveyardtour@gmail.com so we can follow up with you directly. We hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future.

Don’t buy ice cream before! They will give you vouchers for places around there lol. The tour itself was engaging and spooky for everyone in our group! I noticed one mom have to tell her son that the spirits wouldn’t get him. We were so taken by the stories on the route that we had to go back after the tour and scare ourselves some more with just the two of us calling for the ghosts and seeing if we could provoke them into a paranormal encounter. Our host was very personable and had deep roots with the town which added to the magic of his tales. It was very entertaining and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn ghostly history about the town of Alexandria!

Thank you for such an awesome and detailed review! We love that you were so into the stories you went back to chase ghosts on your own — that's the spirit! Your host will be thrilled to hear how much their storytelling and hometown connection added to the experience. And yes, next time... save the ice cream for after the tour — those vouchers come in handy! Hope to see you again for another night of ghostly fun!
