2 nights in Amboró National Park

It's a great trip. A couple of lovely walks and the views are amazing with the red sandstone mountains. Our guide, Rúal, was so knowledgeable about the environment there. He called to the Capuchin monkeys he heard in the distance and they answered! It wasn't made clear that we wouldn't walk in the forest with the fern trees, so I was disappointed about that. I would have happily paid another night to have walked there.

We’re very happy that you enjoyed the beautiful walks, the dramatic red sandstone mountains, and the incredible views. We’re also delighted that you had such a positive experience with Raúl, our knowledgeable indigenous guide. His understanding of the local environment and wildlife, including the capuchin monkeys, makes visits to Refugio Los Volcanes especially memorable. We’re sorry for the confusion regarding the giant ferns. They are located in a completely different area near Samaipata, around three hours away from Refugio Los Volcanes, and are part of a separate tour. Private tour of amazing property adjacent to Amboro National Park including transportion there and back. Not an easy task as it ends in a 5 Km challenging dirt road. Personable and knowledgeable guide. Hikes of varying difficulty. Views galore. Overnight in a delightful small lodge.
