Our tour guide Dimitri was great!!! We visited 2 different wineries, toured their wine caves and production processes in early September during the harvest and crush. After touring the production processes at both wineries, we tasted all of their wines which were absolutely delicious. I am now only a French wine drinker!!!!
We loaded into Dimitri's van at the Tours tourist office around 2:30 and didn't return until 6:30 p.m.!!!!
He also took us out into vineyards on farm dirt roads and to educate us on local growing and harvesting practices and local history all of which was not only above and beyond the description of the tour, but fascinating!!!!

Our tour guide Dimitri was a lovely, funny guy and was very inciteful as were the winery staff and owners that showed us their wineries and presented the tastings.

If our trip was any indication of what was shown in the advertising, forget the trip and go do something on your own. We signed up for an English speaking guide, which unfortunately could barely understand. Spent most of the time traveling in a van and stoped at one winery that was the highlight and very informative, but the second winery was basically in town and nothing remotely looking like a winery with bartenders hustling around pouring wine. I’m hoping this was just a bad day for the tour and not the norm

Tour guide was very knowledgable and engaging! It was shorter than expected (2 1/2 hours) and we didn't have the chance to see the actual vineyards or wine processing. It would have been helpful to have more information about the tour, to have better aligned my expectations. We did sample quite a few wines.

The wine tasting and visit to the wine caves was fabulous. The rest of the time was riding in the car and not very interesting. We did not stop to view the sites as pictured.

This was a tremendous waste of money. We paid for a 4 hour wine tour. This was around 3 hours total, we spent 2 of those hours driving in the car. We only stopped at 1 winery, tried 6 white wines (never even had a full glass). No food or snacks were offered. The your operator was very nice and informative but the tour itself was extremely boring. Then she drive us to a field for a 10 minute chat about vines. The pictures and details are misleading.There was no frolicking in the vineyards, large outdoor tables with people drinking wine, multiple stops at any of the chateaus/ vineyards. Just 40 of minutes of driving in a van, to a cold cave, tasting 6 wines, 20 minutes out to see a field, then back to Tours FR. We did our own self guided tours on other days, way better. I do not like to leave bad reviews, but we also asked for a few partial refund, and Viaror denied it. I guess they don’t actually care if the experience is good. 2 stars only because the guide was nice.

What a fun afternoon and getting to taste lots of white and sparkling wine. Two lovely small vineyards visited to see how they created their wine. Wow...I will really appreciate how much effort went in to making my wine next time I open it. We were lucky enough to be there and watch the pickers harvest some of the vines. I was expecting great big juicy grapes but they are in fact small grapes and tightly packed on the bunch.
Lovely guide Alex who kept us entertained the whole afternoon.

Visited two lovely vineyards in Vouvray with our wonderful and very knowledgeable guide who collected us from Tours and translated where needed during the tour. We sampled around 10 wines across the two locations, and were able to purchase without any pressure afterwards.
In terms of value for money, I would say that I feel that this tour was priced quite highly. During the first tour, an English couple turned up to enquire about wine tasting and were allowed to join our group without charge. With hindsight, we could have gotten a taxi to any winery in the area and asked for a tasting for much less.

Loved the 1/2 day wine tour of 2 vineyards. We had plenty of time to ask questions, explore "caves" where wine is stored, and taste LOTS of wines! Our tour guide, Dimitri, was friendly and knowledgeable!!

The winery was housed in a limestone cave and was a unique experience. A great time.

We visited one family run winery and had 5 wines to taste, stopped in the vineyard to see the area and then went to one biodynamic winery on the river. Asked about 3.5 hrs. Very knowledgeable hosts at each winery, great wine. All vouvray for our tour.

Perfunctory tours, no food with wine tastings, , waste of time. Spent too much time just standing around. Tour guide at Marc Bredif winery was pathetic. There have to be much better tour companies. Definitely not for upscale or sophisticated travelers.

This tour was so incredible with just another gal on the tour with me. I can say with all certainty that Château petit Du Thoars was so incredible and the intimacy of being shown the property by the owner Sebastien and just one other person was just too cool! Really great wine and beautiful views!
