Myself and my partner did this as a private tour, would highly recommend! Our two guides were incredibly friendly and accomodating, even took us to an authentic Albanian ice cream shop and got us ice creams on the way to the winery. We got to enjoy some beautiful traditional Albania foods and wine from the winery by the lake which was very relaxing! The staff who conducted the winery tour and at the restaurant were very friendly and made it an enjoyable experience. The tour guides who collected us definitely made it memorable experience. Durrës was beautiful, especially to over look from the winery.

Excellent day touring the countryside outside of Durres. The winery is absolutely lovely! We very much enjoyed learning about the region’s history and the local varietals. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Mario picked us up from hotel and we headed to winery with some surprises for us along the way. He was a great tour guide answering our many questions about Albanian culture and customs. Duka winery staff were knowledgeable and so hospitable. Short boat ride on lake with a charcuterie board and some Rose was a great precursor to the remainder of the wine tasting. The food served alongside the remainder of wine tasting was delicious. There also looked to be a full menu that other guests ordered from, but what they served was plenty to accompany a wine tasting.

Excellent trip to vineyard. Convenient pick up from hotel. Knowledgeable guide talked to us about wine production, and we tasted the wine, raki, and olive oil. The food provided was substantial amount and very good. The setting is beautiful.

Amazing five star experience

This experience really was the highlight of our trip to Albania. From start to finish it was perfect. Mario was lovely and the journey to the vineyard was informative and enjoyable. The vineyard is in a beautiful setting and Elena was very professional but made the tour fun. The wine was really nice, we actually stayed longer to enjoy another bottle and then bought one from the shop. The food supplied was a lot more than we thought it would be and a perfect amount for lunch. I would 100% recommend this tour. It is definitely worth the value.

Durres Wine Tasting Tour

Mario was an exceptional host. He was very amiable and accommodating throughout the whole tour. We were picked up from our hotel which was very convenient. Elena was equally extremely professional and knowledgeable about the vineyard, its history and operations. After the tour of the vineyard, we were treated to an array of wine and spirits from the vineyard as well as some cold cuts, a selection of cheese and some pizza to wrap things up. The service was unrushed and pleasant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was divine and we had the benefit of a spectacular view of the vineyard as the sun set. My profound thanks to Mario and his entire team for an unforgettable tour, we will definitely be back in the Summer!

We had such a beautiful experience at this winery. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and informative. The vineyard itself was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views which my partner and I were blessed to have the whole place to ourselves making the experience extra special. Beautiful wine & raki which is definitely worth making a purchase at their shop. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you ❤️

Charming and Tasty Countryside Visit

I enjoyed every single second of this trip! Traveling solo, all the guides and staff made it super comfortable and personable, sharing with me their stories from their communities and love for food and wine of Albania. The vineyard was right out of a storybook- small, intimate and cozy, and I loved learning how they care for and respect the product they make. My tour guide Erisa was a superstar- funny and charming and so knowledgeable about the wine and making my experience the best it could be! I definitely recommend for anyone interested in exploring Albania’s up and coming wine scene!

Great experience! Got picked up at our hotel by a driver and one of the guides. First a tour around the vinyard and the bunkers, before we got to taste 3 types of wine and 2 types of raki along with delicious food! Helpful and nice guides!

Good but needs some work

We came from Tirana to be picked up in Plepa and you can be picked up anywhere in the Durres area. The tour guide took us in his personal car (along with another couple, making it so the car was completely full) to a winery. The winery itself was gorgeous and had good drinks and amazing food. It also had chickens and peacocks walking around! We then got a brief tour of the vineyard and an overview of how the wine was made, though they said that normally, they do the vineyard and wine overview first. This was not really a problem for us. The tour guide then drives you back to where you want in Durres. In our case, the driver offered to take us back to Tirana for a 30 euro charge (which is more than what a taxi would charge), and we accepted it. But after we were already on our way, he said he forgot that he needed to take his grandma and mom to Tirana so we spent an extra approximately twenty minutes to pick them up and then we drove with the crammed car again to Tirana. He still charged us in the end. All and all, it was a fun experience and it was an incredible winery, but it could definitely be improved, particularly to make it more organized.

Deze wijn proeverij is een absolute aanrader. Diverse wijnen proeven , diverse raki proeven, heerlijke tapas proeverij. super goede rondleidingen op de gaarde en bunkers. De rondleiding werd gedaan, door een super vrolijke, positieve en enthousiaste dame. " Echt onze complimenten" Overigens is de rest van het personeel en bediening, ook super vrolijk en enthousiast.
