Take this driver off the road

Kim_C, Aug 2026
I have so much to say about this. First of all - be on time when you require your clients to meet at a certain time. Secondly - don't keep saying it will be five more minutes before the driver is here. And before my rant I would like to mention that Niko, the guide, was perfect. Fluent in Russian and English and very knowledgeable. He can't be blamed for any of this. And in regards to the tour itself. The village of Asureti is not really interesting. Second stop at a cafeteria and a water reservoir (???) is a tourist trap. And Dashbashi is.... only interesting if you haven't walked on a glass bridge or seen a waterfall before. The waterfall was the absolute highlight of this tour. Really not worth the time or the money. Then comes the real problem: The driver. He was alright in the first half of the tour. Despite driving like a racecar driver - almost got us in an accident - he didn't seem to be in a bad place. Then something happened on the way back. He became very unsafe on the road. Swerved from side to side, across the middle line even in no-passing areas. He was speeding up to 110 km/h in a 50 zone. Passed other cars dangerously and I had to yell 'no' to him at some point because I saw oncoming traffic and he didn't. He gestured and honked constantly when other drivers were doing the exact same things as he was doing. I talked to the two other passengers in our van after we were dropped off and they were equally afraid. Personally, I thought this would end in a crash. We passed four cars which had been in a crash minutes before we got there. The driver seems unaffected and only annoyed with the delay. This driver is a disgrace - even after Georgian standards. And this driver was a police officer previously. He still drives as one but without a siren on. He should not be accountable for driving other people around.

Rude guide and unorganized trip

Zeina_k, Aug 2022
The trip was very unorganized with pickups and timings. The tour guide was not professional at all. He was rude with guests and said the f word . He was just sitting and doing nothing. Though the site was amazing ! But this tour company or guide doesnt represent a good planning not organization.
