It was an amazing tour in the mountains of Svaneti region. We really loved it! Our guide was really nice and helpful, not just giving us great tips and hints about the attractions, but also translating for us if needed and recommending delicious traditional Georgian foods :)

Eine interessante Zeit in Swanetien

Die 3-Tages-Tour nach Swanetien hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Trotz der langen Fahrstrecke war es bis jetzt der Höhepunkt unserer Reise. Swanetien mit seinen schneebedeckten Bergen und den vielen Wehtürmen ist wunderschön. Unser Führer Gogi hat die ersten zwei Tage der Tour für uns sehr kurzweilig gemacht und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Am dritten Tag war dann allerdings von ihm leider nichts mehr zu hören. Er hatte es offenbar unglaublich eilig nach Tiflis zurückzukommen. Da war denn auch die angekündigte Kaffeepause plötzlich vergessen und die Fahrweise war schon sehr extrem.

Svanetien muss man gesehen haben. Unser Guide Gogi war sehr bemüht und aufmerksam. Wir haben viel über Land und Leute erfahren. Bester Guide ever! Mestia und Ushguli sind auf jeden Fall die lange Fahrt wert.
