Your bilingual driver will be waiting for you 10 minutes before at the reception hotel. Once we identify you, we will go to the parking lot in search of the latest model minibus that will take you safely from Tamarindo to your a new hotel in the Arenal, specifically in the small town of La Fortuna. During the trip you will have access wifi connection, bottled water and 1 hour to make stops, time that you can use to use the restrooms, buy a souvenir, or simply try something local like drink coconut water or taste a delicious tropical fruit. In case your flight will be delayed, don't worry about it, our driver will wait for you as long as necessary. At the end of the trip our driver will teach you a few words in Spanish and tell you more about Costa Rican history. We will notify you a few minutes before arriving so that you are ready to enjoy your new destination.

Not what I paid for - but hey I got from point A to point B

The listing advertised a new minibus (van - they’re everywhere) to take us from Tamarindo to La Fortuna. The guy shows up with a Toyota Highlander (obviously smaller, no wifi, etc). Honestly fine - but I paid for a van and felt like there was a bait and switch. I did book pretty last minute so not saying this should be generalized to the entire service but when I messaged the operator they were pretty salty about me even asking saying that I was lucky to get a ride and how theyre taking a loss etc etc. kinda strange. The ride itself was fine - the driver was nice ( though saying he was bikingual is a longshot…) he did speed pretty much the whole way and hit 120 KPH which I think is a felony but maybe thats just the driving culture. I don’t know use your best judgment Viator customer.
