Ok tour next to cruise ship port but be careful to keep eyes on your group. If there are multiple groups in the water you can be separated. The tour leaders should try and keep the tours better separated by using different colors worn or held.

Thank you for your comment. I apologize that you had the experience you did. We only offer this tour on Fridays and Sundays because it’s uncommon for a cruise ship to be in port on those days. When they are, we often cancel the tour because we don’t enjoy offering tours on cruise ship days either. This isn’t just because the water gets crowded due to the ship offering its own own tours on those days, but it also detracts from the overall experience because we can’t go to the actual pier when the ship is in. The only reason we didn’t cancel this tour when we noticed a ship in port was because most of the guests who booked were from the ship. In the future, we’ll keep an eye on the cruise ship schedule and cancel the tour in advance.

Joe was an amazing guide. We seen sea turtles, spotted eagle ray. Barracuda. And a lot of different fish.

We loved Branden and Joe! They were great guides. We felt safe and got to swim close up with two green sea turtles. Note: Meet in front of the pier. It was a little confusing where to meet, but in front of the pier is most specific.

You walk right into the water and see fish right away. The staff is great and helpful both in and out of the water. The water was a bit turbulent the day we went which reduced visibility but we still still saw turtles, lots of fish, and a coupe barracuda.

This experience is just jumping off the pier , there is no tour. Not as described, came up under Buck island tours.

Did you attend our tour? you did not. The highlight of our tour is snorkeling with sea turtles in their natural habitat. Our description does not indicate that the tour operates at Buck Island. Please see the reviews of other guests who actually joined our tour to see their true experiences.
We kindly ask you to research carefully before booking the wrong tour and leaving negative reviews, which isn’t our fault. Our tour guides work hard to ensure you have the best possible experience, and it isn’t fair for them to receive a 1-star rating when you did not give them a chance to do so.
Had you join the tour I’m sure the 7 turtles the others swam with for 2hours would have given you a different opinion. (Please don’t knock it before you try it).

It was amazing from beginning to end. Brandon and Joe are top notch. They are 2 of the best all around guys. Very warm and welcoming. I was nervous, but in their care was instantly comforted. I feel like I've met friends for life.

This was my first time & I can honestly say I had a blast! The hardest part was trying to remember to breathe out of my mouth but once I got it down, it was a breeze. Brandon & Joe were really nice as well & very informative when explaining everything. Also, the price wasn’t bad at all. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Came with my friend and had an awesome time!! The guides were so kind, fun, and always made sure we were safe! Saw so much and I truly recommend! I want to highlight that they care about these sea creatures so so much and for their safety! They had told us someone who didn’t show up wrote a fake review on animal cruelty and it broke my heart because these guys CARE about these creatures so much:(

You guys ruined my day. I need my full trip refunded. The abuse to the turtles was rampant. Plus the way the staff treated the black people that were also taking the tour was disgusting. The staf of yesterday need to be fired.

Nautical_G, I wish we had the pleasure of taking you out because you would have had a completely different experience but unfortunately you did not attend a tour with our company.

You did book a tour with us and when our tour did not operate on that day, you requested a refund through Viator which we accepted immediately and apologized as we weren’t able to reach you. The other two guest on that tour had the same issue and we took them out the next day at no cost which you were also given the same option to go out the next day but did not respond to that message either.
Please see the comments the guest left at the same time as your post and see how they explained the experience they had as they were the only two persons on our tour that day.
Further more, this company is a young local (black) owned company, with all local (black) tour guides. Why local/black? Because every tour guide at this company was born and raised in the Fredericksted area and grew up snorkeling at the pier where this tour takes place. There is not one other person who knows this area and care for the sea life as much as we do because this company/area is not just our job, it’s our home.

Joe our guide was excellent!! Our group did not have snorkeling experience! From the moment we arrived to in and out of the water it was FUN SAFE and seen LOTS of ocean life! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The beach is part of a resort that was recently acquired, and a local told us that they really turned the place around. Plenty of parking. It isn't super well marked or signed, but it's kinda the only beach there, so you figure it out. It's a small beach, but it isn't crowded and people are respectful.
We had plenty of communication leading up to this booking; the company sometimes operates out of Frederiksted if a cruise ship is due that day - we got lucky and were able to go to Chenay Bay. Our host, Dakari, was friendly and helpful! There were only a few people there, so there wasn't any shortage of equipment for snorkeling, paddleboarding, or kayaking. Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs were already up by the time we arrived.
What makes it easy to spend an entire day or afternoon there is 1) easy access to bathroom facilities, and 2) the resort's bar, which has a good menu for lunch. The burger was *unreasonably* good.
The water is warm and stays pretty shallow for a ways, and if seaweed bothers you just be aware that it's unavoidable past a certain point. When we were paddleboarding, we also let the wind push us further than we intended, so it was quite the workout getting back to the launch point!
Finally, shout out to the chunky beach dog who wanders around saying hi to everyone; she's such a sweetheart.

I paid for a Rainbow Beach relax and play package. You bait-and-switch rainbow beach for Paradise Breach in the package only a day or two before the excursion. Paradise Beach is a dump! Told by Viator tour operator to show our paperwork to staff at paradise beach, they had no clue of what they were looking at. Then you show our excursion as Chenay Bay because Paradise beach is a dump that isn't even named Paradise beach. You cheated us out of $88.20 and we will never use your services again.

Good morning, I’m very surprised to have to read this review from you after we messaged you 5 DAYS (not a day or two) before your reservation offering you a full refund because we had to close our Rainbow Beach location. We clearly explained to you that if you had your heart set on going to Rainbow beach you still can and we will offer you a full refund to spend with other vendors there. We also explained that our other water sports center is at Chenay bay resorts which is on the other side of the island. To make it more convenient for you we also gave you the option to visit Royal Caribbean’s pop up beach at Fort Frederik beach named paradise beach by Royal Caribbean where you were offered more than you paid for with free beach chairs and umbrellas, which is also right next to the cruise ship terminal so that you wouldn’t have to spend extra on a taxi. However Had you called us when you visited the beach and said you were not impressed we would have issued you a full refund but you didn’t. You spent the day at the beach accepted Everything they offered you then chose to come on here to bash a small business for trying to make your vacation an enjoyable one.
In return I will offer you a bit of advice,
On your next vacation, when you visit a beach excursion that you pre booked in advance. When you get to that excursion and you’re not happy with the beach, right there and then is when you complain. Do not allow the hard working employees of that company to pamper you then ask for a refund AFTER. That’s not cool

We got to kayak along rainbow beach and snorkel! It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed it! Afterwards we went to Rhythms restaurant and had a snack. All around a great time!

Kayaking and watching the kids enjoy paddleboarding was awesome. The snorkeling was great too! The guys working the stand were wonderful and very helpful. We ended up getting an umbrella and beach chairs too. It was a fantastic day!

We arrived at 11:30 to the beach. At that time there were very few people so we had plenty of sand to select for our towels. The snorkeling was not very good since the jet skis go through where you swim. Maybe we should have gone out further? The beach is nice. The rentals were very easy. I probably wouldn’t go back to the beach simply because as the day went on it became increasingly busy. I’d probably find a much quieter beach, but if you enjoy lots of people and just like to float around in the water, this would be the spot for you!

What a fun day! We experienced Water activities that was so much fun and with CJ assistance and patience, we were totally relaxed. Ate lunch at the Rhythm restaurant and it was delicious. The whole day was perfect.
