Saddle up for a horseback ride into the rainforest and pastures with this small-group, guided equestrian experience. A professional tour leader will take you and your mounted group out to discover local flora and fauna, with a stop along the way at an old sugar mill for photos.

Nice gentle horses. Very scenic trails through Nicks farm. Great views from the hillside. We saw local butterflies and even Monarchs that are not native to the island. Supposedly brought here during the pandemic when parents were homeschooling!
Nick is very knowledgeable of the plants and trees and shares his knowledge with you.
My husband and I had a private tour and are very happy we did an adventure off the beach.

This was such a fun bonding experience for my and my teenage daughter! Horses were so sweet and gentle. She was a first time rider and our guide was such a sweet teacher. He took such care telling us about the beautiful land, plants, animals and history. We got some beautiful photos and best of all great bonding time and connection with some amazing animals and nature. Highly recommend! Thanks again for a great adventure.

This experience was very relaxing and informative. We got to travel through the grass lines in the hills while we encountered other horses that were loose roaming around eating. We got to see ruins of China pieces an pottery. while our tour guide, and his daughter was so informative to us. The horses were well maintained. my Horse name was Monster. Monster was pregnant at the time so she was eating while we were on our journey through the forest. She was well behaved. Apparently her name is given to her because she has two different colored eyes. She was very beautiful. I really enjoyed the journey with her I would do it again. I recommend this tour to all who go to St. Croix

We had an awesome experience. Our guide was very patient with all our young men who had never experienced riding a horse before and some were understandably slightly intimidated by these massive animals. The horses themselves were amazing and super tamed and nurtured. Riding through the trail Nick shared a lot of his knowledge about the vegetation that was extremely interesting. We’d even had a hard time finding the meeting point and Nick helped guide us in to the correct location. Highly recommend Nick and his awesome crew that he has that assists on the horseback riding experience. You feel safe and assured during the whole ride.

He was very thorough in making sure we were comfortable getting on the horses and how to direct the horses before we went on our journey. We had a wonderful time! Nick and his assistant are two of the sweetest people we met on the island. Nick helped us with the navigation to get there when we got a little turned around. He was very patient and clear spoken. When we got there they both gave super clear instructions and quick riding lesson before we got on the horses. It was my fiancés first time and he was a little nervous but they made the experience super easy going and relaxing. He did amazing thanks to all of their direction. The horses are super well trained and very calm beautiful animals. Going through the rainforest was beautiful and nick and his assistant were very informative in explaining all the nature and plants and animals. We had some good laughs too along the trail. Very easy to talk to and very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this activity to people visiting the island. Awesome time!!

Nick, his assistant and horses were great! The conversation was great, instructions clear and the horses were beautiful and healthy. The trail is amazing and the cute at the end is perfect. I definitely recommend going here and will be back next time I visit St. Croix!

We are newly empty nesters and wanted time away in St Croix with some adventures! Our horseback riding experience didn't disappoint! Nick and his daughter were the best and treated us so well with great patience!! We stopped for fresh fruit and some amazing scenery/views with lots of interesting backstories! My sister and I didn't realize it would be just the two of us who signed up, so it was a lovely surprise that it was more "private" of a tour! We highly enjoyed our experience. We've done other horseback riding experiences before, but there isn't a way we could compare this experience with, say, Yellowstone's horseback riding, because they're different but equally just as amazing. The horses were easy to ride, the experts friendly and very informative of both the riding and the land and history, and the views beautiful, both close up and distant. I loved learning about the unique habitat of St Croix and seeing Nick's other horses as they were nearby on his property (they didn't bother us, and both of the experts leading the tour had kept control over all the horses as the non-working horses approached our working horses). I would pay for this again!

Such a great experience! Folksy and Nick were amazing and gave us a full in-depth tour of the valley and St. Croix. The horses were loving easy going and well taken care of. It was awesome to go into the fields and see the other horses running around and being playful with each other. Highly recommend.

Nick was a wonderful host. The horses were gentle. Very fun tour even in the rain. One hour was perfect. Got to sample some wild growing fruits. Would do this again.

Very wonderful guide that was informative. Learned a lot about the land and plant life. Beautiful views. Warning: we tried walking there due to not being able to find a taxi. DO NOT attempt to walk! It is at the top of a mountain and the path is known as “the beast”.
