We got picked up from our hotel on time and met Jimmy the tour guide, on our bus, he was superb and gave you a real feeling that he was being genuine with his interactions, something we have seldom felt on our trip so far. We’ve then arrived at the ‘safari’ and begun our excursion, the quad bike ride was excruciatingly slow and if you dare go too fast or come from directly behind the ‘desert guide’ he’ll have a go at you, he was very miserable. At one point he nearly came to blows with a lad when his mum had got stuck and he turned back to help her, he was fuming and I thought the shouting was slightly excessive. Our quad broke down at the first stop, but to be fair to misery guts he did get us on another one quickly. We probably spent approx 20 minutes total on the quads across the 5 hours as you are constantly stopping at every opportunity (for them to sell you something new). We arrived at the second stop where we had our camel ride, all 5 minutes of it. The Bedouin were lovely but much like the quads, the experience didn’t last very long. Then we continued to our next stop which was roughly 5 mins drive on the quads. There were 3 shows where the music kept cutting out but performers powered through regardless, 2 hours was WAY too long here. Good food though, rice and chicken, can’t go wrong, even for my gluten free partner. And that was it, travelling back to base camp at 5mph in the dark again to have a look at the £20 video montage I’d been flogged at one of the stops. Very underwhelming but Jimmy is a top man and the food was very nice. Overall, wouldn’t recommend for adults, but if you’re travelling with kids, might be nice for them.

Pictures note accurate, camel abuse, picture not accurate but good quads

The quad part is pretty fun, even tho we have to stay in line and we can't go fast. The camel part was realy disappointing, they make the camel stand up by kicking them in the throat with there foot we make 30 mètre then we come back. There are people trying to sell you something everywhere. And most importantly, there are to many people on the same small part of the desert we are talking hundreds of quads, buggy and minivan at the same place. Not at all the pictures on the website.

Dear Valued Guest, thank you for your 3-star review. Regarding the camels, 30 meters is incorrect; it is typically 10 to 15 minutes. Customers usually stop for photos. The vendors in the desert are not affiliated with us; they are Bedouin people. Regarding the crowds, the desert can be busy due to many reservations throughout Sharm El Sheikh. I’m shocked at how many 5 star reviews there are. We told The photographer we didn’t want to buy the pictures/videos and of course he continued to pressure us to buy them. Then had us fill out a paper with name and phone number and when we asked what it was he made it seem like he would send an example of the videos he makes so we could decide if we wanted it. After we filled it out he told us it was a receipt and that we had to pay. He bothered us for the rest of the night (at dinner, the show, stops for ATV ride) to pay for the pictures. Next, we stopped for pictures on the ATV where children (probably younger than 10) surrounded us trying to sell bracelets and saying “give me 100 Egyptian pounds” “cmon” “money” for the entire photo stop, I understand asking a couple times but this was excessive. The next stop was for the camel ride and shopping. They tried to get us to pay for the camel ride even though it is included in the viator listing. After showing the listing they said okay and let us go without paying again, but they were trying to take advantage of us and charge again. The camel ride was like 20 steps away from the start, they took horrible pictures and then said “tip, tip” before taking us 20 steps back. The whole ride probably lasted 7 minutes. The dinner and show was entirely too long. Multiple people were laying down on their bench and falling asleep. The food was tasty but refrigerator cold and the show dragged on for soooo long. I only gave 2 stars because some of the guides were nice and always asking us if we were good and the ATV ride was fun! But other than that, everything else was a bad experience.

What a fantastic trip, well worth the money. Quad bikes so much fun , camel ride amazing one of the bucket list. Dinner and show was really good. Tour guides were brilliant, could not fault the experience.

Not worth the money

This excursion does not start at 5pm it actually starts at 7pm. The camel ride literally jumping in and jumping off. The Bedouin dinner was stone cold and had grit in the food. I would not book this trip just book the quad bike for £17 not worth it at all.

Amazing people, amazing guides, they warn you from scams, they ask you if everything is alright the whole time etc. Very nice food - Insanely good mood and its very fun driving the Quad. I will 100% come back for a second visit before my vavation is over 🔥

-A real Oasis amongst the many tourist traps and scams. -Kind, polite and funny guides -The ATV was fun and also for amateurs- the Team kept all safe too. -That was more than interesting that actually we ourselves drove to the different spots, including the camel ride hideout and the show. -Lots of time to ride the ATV -Camel ride: I compared with the one I had years ago in Cairo. There I was unsafe by the many scammers and perhaps criminals too, here all fun and well treated animals. -The show was really professional too -The dinner was good but a bit cold. -If they could not provide some part of the experience they gave some other compensation on the spot, in exchange. Unbelievable friendliness and real care in this sometimes strange hospitality sector and region. Such as a 'crazy ATV' surprise ride instead of star gazing. Yasser Derballa, one of the remarkable young leaders and kind of younger brother for the end, and all the others deserve the applause! Keep up this good work and enthusiast spirit, guys!
