Our trip with David could not have been better! We had great communication from the company before the tour, then updates from David via text and phone call. He was an excellent guide, with vast knowledge of the history, the unique features, and the wines of the Languedoc region. We enjoyed the very generous wine tasting with 4 whites, a rose and 3 reds. All were lovely, and a couple were very unique based on their sea level terroir.
Our next stop was an oyster farm and restaurant. The fresh oysters were truly the best I have ever had! Briny and creamy, served on a bed of seaweed. It was served with a glass of the local Picpoul de Penet wine - the perfect complement.
We finished our tour with a quick drive around Sête, stopping for photos of the amazing vistas.
I highly recommend this tour company, and David specifically!

One of our favourite days of our entire trip!
Marc Cazalis was knowledgeable, funny and clearly passionate about his family’s winery, Chateau Cazalis de Fondouce, and the beautiful region he calls home. Great wines, stunning scenery and fresh almonds picked straight from the tree.
Then came Le Mas Soula—home to the best oysters, mussels and oyster ceviche we’ve ever had. Along with an awesome location right on the lagoon and the aroma of a wood-fired grill for the mussels. We could’ve stayed there all afternoon!
And let’s not forget Pistachio, the vineyard’s four-legged security officer, who may have stolen part of the show.
A fabulous day and an authentic taste of southern France. We recommended Marc and this tour - we would do it again and again!

Hello Craig,
Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a pleasure sharing our family winery and this beautiful corner of southern France with you.
I'm delighted you enjoyed the wines, the scenery, and your stop at Le Mas Soula. And Pistachio will be thrilled by the special mention—she certainly loves meeting our guests!
Thank you again for your recommendation. I hope to welcome you back someday!

Despite the less than ideal weather…drizzling rain and dense fog…we had a great time on our wine and oyster tour from Sete.
Our guide Gabriel was very pleasant and accommodating and had lots to tell us about the wine making process at the vineyard we visited and also the oyster farming. And the oysters were delicious!
Marc was an excellent guide, fun, knowledgeable and entertaining. The six of us had an amazing time. Great wine, oysters and company. A unique experience and I highly recommend.
This is a MUST if you find yourself in the Sete area. The vineyard tour with our guide, Marc, was amazing. He is a winemaker himself, so his knowledge is vast and made the tour very interesting. The second stop at the oyster farms was equally amazing and we sat down for what was the most delicious and fresh oysters we have ever eaten…and we’ve had a lot.
Our guide Marc was super cool and added so must dimension to the tour.
Marc was a great guide. His local knowledge of the wine and oyster industry was excellent. He was able to answer all our questions and provided a tour of a local winery and a restaurant that served oysters and mussels from the the lagoon. During the winery tour he covered from the grapes in the vineyard to making the wine and finally tasting white and red wines from the vineyard.
He also explained the entire process of growing the oysters and mussels in the lagoon and how the winemakers and shellfish farmers have started to work together.
It was a great tour!
Very fine excursion to native franch places arround Sete. Thank you Marc for the explanation and background!
