A fantastic tour, Mehmet was hugely knowledgeable and shared lots of stories and theories as well as the key information about the site.
We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Mehmet was wonderful and gave us a lot of insight into Ephesus’ history plus a lot of cool stories!! Highly recommend!

Volkan is an expert on his region, world religions and the site of Ephesus. He brought the historical timeline to life, while adding in just enough metaphor and humor to keep it engaging. He was kind enough to accompany me to lunch later and we became friends. I would highly recommend this tour. Without a guide, the site wouldn’t have been as memorable and special.

It was a very enriching experience. It's amazing just how much history Ephesus has. We were very lucky to be the only ones with our guide.

It was a pleasant experience - the guide was very knowledgeable and trying to make the tour entertaining. We started the tour at 8.00 am and finished at 10.00 am, there were many people but it was not too crowded. Might be worth to come a bit in advance to skip the line and buy entrance tickets. Definitely recommend to visit Ephesus as it helps you to travel across centuries;)

Our guide, Volkan, made this wonderful and memorable tour even more amazing with his storytelling, deep knowledge of history, language, religious artifacts and cultural connections. He was professional and a great communicator. We enjoyed our conversations immensely. Highly recommended.

This was the best tour we had on our 9 day trip to Greece and Turkey. The attention to detail and personalization was over the top!!! Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Dervis, reached out to us in advance for the purposes of being sure we knew where and when to meet up. Guide was super knowledgable and helpful in bringing the city of Ephesus to life in front of us. He frequently name dropped celebrities and politicians who visited Ephesus as a part of his tours, which was a bit annoying after a while. Not a huge damper on the tour, but it was a bit off putting after a bit since we really just wanted to dive into Ephesus.

Our guide Ozgur provided us with an extremely in-depth tour. His knowledge of archeology kept us totally engaged during our walking tour and made the ruins come to life. We highly recommend!

My guide was Ozgur Dalkilic who did an excellent job. He was really knowledgable about Ephesus as well as the context of other sites. The tour started with a through of overview of the site map of Ephesus and then moved on to looking at specific remains. In particular, Ozgur added a lot of historic detail and avoided a bunhc of silly anecdotes that may or may not be true that so often come with historic tours. Starting the tour at Ephesus was mor ecost-effective and avoided being brought to a bunch of artisan sales pitches. Highly recommend.

Our guide Ozgur was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and spent a little more time with us going over the House of Mary. He told fascinating stories about Ephesus. I would highly recommend his tour.

Trust me, you need a guide for Ephesus. I'm a high school history teacher and I had been here 10 years ago, but it would have been a completely different (and lesser) experience without a guide. This place is too big with too much history and too much nuance to truly appreciate what you're getting on your own. And since you're going to be smart and get a guide, you should get Özgür because he's the best. He was very knowledgable, easy to talk to, and invested in making sure we had the best possible tour. Added plus? He's an archaeologist who worked on the Ephesus site (among others) so he can give excellent insight into both the historical city and the process of excavating it.

My wife and I recently came to Bodrum from Cappadocia and had rented a car (highly highly recommended to get your own car in Bodrum or anywhere in Turkey that’s not Istanbul) and we decided that we didn’t want a long tour where we the guide took us to his favorite leather, rug, ceramic, etc business where they hard sold us on their item of choice. We just wanted a guide for Ephesus. And that’s exactly what we got. Our guide gave us a ton of information in packets we could digest. He was patient as we took a million pictures and was happy to take them for us, taking our detailed pose instructions and making the photos look great. He was also a very kind person. Overall we just really enjoyed ourselves.

Hello Shane,
Thank you so much for your positive review.

Great experience with a very friendly guide. He shared a lot of interesting details about Ephesus. I highly recommend anyone do this tour!
Keith_K, Jul 2020
Our tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and extremely insightful and professional. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Bible and how it relates to not just to Ephesus but all of Turkey regarding the early church. I’d do another tour again with him 110% and hope to come back some day.
RICHARD_B, Oct 2019
Unfortunately, the tour operator and I did not make contact the night prior to the tour to make specific arrangements, so we missed each other at the appointed time. He assures me he was in the right place at the right time, and seems very sincere about it so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I received a full refund promptly on request so I was not in the end ripped off.

Sorry 😐 about the miscommunication.

I loved Ephesus. The guide was really informative and told us all the amazing stories of ephesus and turkey. Totally worth it.

Tour guide was excellent - went above and beyond to tell us about Ephesus and also took some time to tell us about the Akropolis that we had visited the day before in Bergama. Learned more in an hour then we ever would have done on our own. Easy walk when starting at the top and walking down.

Our guide Mehmet was very proactive and friendly, I quickly received his proactive contact after the appointment to suggest us the right time to visit, although later due to the delay in the journey, he was also flexible to adapt to our itinerary; about Ephesus's narrative combines mythology, history, with modern development, lively and full of knowledge, he also brought us away from crowded tourists, helped with the help of a guide card to buy a quick entry (we also paid euro cash to the guide), the tour can still continue to stay in the monuments until the end of the fun; Mehmet also generously gave helpful suggestions about attractions other than Ephesus;
