Itinerary
Make your own way to the meeting point or request pickup from your Santorini accommodations. Meet your guide, settle into your comfortable minivan, and get ready to experience Santorini like a local.
Head first for the beautiful village of Oia where you have free time to explore before continuing to the postcard-famous Blue Dome Church in Firostefani. While driving east to visit the village of Kamari, set around a black-sand beach, your guide fills you in on Santorini’s history and culture. You have free time in Kamari to explore the shops, cafés, and restaurants, or to swim in the blue water.
Then it’s on to the highest point of the island, the mountain of Profitis Ilias to enjoy the views from Profitis Ilias Monastery and visit the chapel of St. Nectarius to taste products, such as olive oil, made by the monks.
Your tour ends back at the meeting point.

Great tour. Appreciated the 1:1 attention, and personalization. Our driver was out tour guide and he was able to tell us things about local like and some history along the way. We were very thankful for the air conditioned vehicle and felt taken care of the entire time. I would definitely recommend as you get to see so much of the island you otherwise would not if stopping for a short trip. They were willing to meet us in various locations and communicated well leading up to the experience.

We had a wonderful day exploring Santorini. Our driver was punctual, well spoken, showed us the beautiful locations and views and helped us avoid crowds as much as possible. I feel, we may have had an unpleasant day in Santorini without him. Thank you

We had a really great tour of santorini with our tour guide Nikolas. He was very knowledgeable and had great info about the island. He picked us up from the top of cable car and walked us to the car. We were a little late due to our cruise ship but it was no problem. We went to firostefani 5min away and then straight to Oia to hopefully beat the crowds.
Nikolas was great and knew all of the spots we were able in some cases to brush past 30+ people in line for a picture spot only to go to another great spot just a little further down with the same view! Definitely helpful to have a local guide. He also helped us navigate the busy streets when tour groups or people in lines would take up the whole walkway. He was always very polite and professional and after seeing Oia we drove around the island to a few other spots he recommended.
He always offered to take our photos together as well.
I would highly recommend tour with him again!

Niko was the absolute best! We were greeted at the top of the cable cars with him holding a sign with our name. He went above and beyond by always dropping us up and picking us up in conveniently close areas so that we didn’t have to walk far to see things. He brought us to some of his recommended places and gave us the history about the beautiful island. We definitely plan to come back to Santorini someday and when we do we will for sure use him again!

We booked a four hour tour of Santorini, and it was a highlight of our vacation!
Booking:
Easy to book through Viator in advance. I had some issue figuring out the pickup time because of our cruise ship time arrival and trying to estimate the line for the cable car. I messaged the company via Viator and Veroniki was incredible responsive and helpful and was able to help us adjust the time on the fly. What a relief!
Driver:
Achilles was our driver and he was lovely! He helped us figure out a game plan on the fly and he took us to several overlooks and helped us navigate Oia to try to avoid the crowds as much as possible. He recommended a great spot for lunch as well. He was so friendly and happy to answer all questions, but he didn’t try to talk our ears off and it was nice having some calm quiet moments as we drove. His English was great and I had no problem understanding him. If they take requests, ask for Achilles!
Car:
There were only two of us, so we were picked up in a black Audi Q2, a small SUV, plenty of space for us but still a small enough car to navigate the narrow streets! The car was pristine and the air conditioning nice and cold.
Overall, I highly recommend Santorini Best Tours for a tour, transportation to/from the airport, or any other transport you may need on the island - I was told they do weddings and other large groups. We can’t wait to come back to Santorini and spend a few nights and I will absolutely look to book them again!

Our one of only a couple experiences with Viator and this was flawless. The best part was the tour guide we were paired with in Santorini. He couldn’t have been more perfect for my wife and I.
We were easily greeted at the Santorini port and quickly moved to his beautiful Mercedes E class for a luxurious tour.
Panos, our amazing guide asked if we had any preconceived plans to see and we answered “no, this is your home we are at your mercy” and he did not disappoint.
Panos started with a tour of the south end of the island beaches.
Stopping frequently for photos while satisfying my personal love of history and geological history, which he was extremely knowledgable.
Pa is took us to all the “secret” photo spots with ease.
This tour exceeded our expectations. It was perfect!

We were in Santorini for only 24 hours but we feel like we saw it all thanks to our amazing guide, Tasos! He showed us the most beautiful and authentic parts of the island while describing in detail the history of this magical place. He took us to one of the best meals we have had so far in Greece and it was right on the beach. Wonderful experience couldn’t recommend it more!

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide took us all around the island and we could customize the tour however we wanted. He was full of the history of this gorgeous place and gave us a richer understanding of our vacation. We always love to do a private tour, to get the best out of the experience! What an amazing way to see the highlights of Santorini in more details. Tassos is very passionate about the history of Santorini. He took us on a journey that my family and I will cherish forever. Amazing tour! Tasos is an incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and passionate tour guide.

Loved every minute of our all around the island tour with Nikolas. We had no agenda except to leave us in Oia and he adjusted to do so and left us with suggestions for dining and transport back to Fera. He covered so many hilights with great knowledge and enthusiasm as well.

This tour was absolutely spectacular. Paolos tailored the tour to my interests and was very conscientious about activity level. He also knew exactly where the best photo spots are on the island and when to hit them to minimize the crowds. Worth every penny and I will certainly do again if luck finds me in Santorini again!

Bill gave us an overall overview of the island from Fira, Oia, Akotiri, black sand beach and other cute towns. We stopped at several beautiful scenic overlooks. He was very conscious of what we wanted to do and see and our comfort.

We had a fabulous time in Santorini. Our guide Panos was amazing - he was great with our one year old who adored him and enjoyed being held by uncle Panos while we took pictures. Panos was very accommodating as we arrived in Santorini an hour and half early and he started the tour early for us. We had an amazing experience and could not recommend the tour enough!
