This is the perfect tour if you want to leave with wonderful pictures. The stunning valley, the photogenic bus, the stop at the salt mine and the delicious dinner against the backdrop of the setting sun all contributed to an unforgettable experience. Javier was a very passionate, sympathetic and committed guide. Would definitely recommend!

Well organized tour where you visit a lot of nice places. The best part was our guide Andres who told us a lot of exciting information about the stops. Andres and the driver Enzo then set up a fantastic table with snacks and Pisco Sour/juice. The sunset was a great ending to a fantastic day!

First, the tour. It's a good alternative to the Valley of the Moon sunset tour. You go to several locations with different scenery and learn about the geology of the Atacama dessert. Then you end at sunset lookout. I highly recommend the tour, but what the 5-star rating is because of our guide Andres. Andres did a great job of explaining the landscape in both English & Spanish. But when I injured my knee, he went above & beyond. My knee was strained before the tour and when going to the sunset viewing point, I took steep step down with my bad leg and instantly regretted it. I stayed behind while Andres got the rest of the group to the viewing point (which was within eyesight of where I stopped). He then came back to make sure I was okay and helped me find a less steep way back up. When we got back to town, he dropped everyone off, but had the driver take us to the emergency room in town. There was a long wait, but Andres insisted on waiting with us, knowing that we didn't speak much Spanish. I decided not to stay because I didn't think they could do much for me. Andres called a cab to take us back to our hotel. The injury was not at all his fault or the fault of the tour, but he went above and beyond to ensure that I was safe.

The tour was supposed to start at 2:30pm as per your voucher. At 2:00pm a tour guide named Mauricio Silva sent a message thru WhatsApp indicating that the pick up will be from 3:30-4:10pm. I asked him why they changed the pick up time without previous notification and he replied let’s talk when I arrived. Upon arrival his attitude was totally senseless shouting that we were strangers in Chile and that in Chile the things are done as they say and that nobody can come to give them orders. That the colonialism was passed 500 years ago. That offensive language was unacceptable for us. The tour as per your application promotion indicates that the tour time will be 2 1/2 hours, he informed that the tour was 4 1/2 hours long. We had booked another tour at 9:00pm. Besides that I told him: ok, let’s go and do the tour but I’ll file a complaint with Viator. Mauricio exploded, start shouting to me and my family and that he had decided that he was not allowed us in his bus. He called the tour guide owner and my wife talked to her. The lady asked us for her apologies and she offered to send us a private tour guide, which she actually did. I believe that we, as tourists, who had flight 10 hours to see the beauties of Chile deserve some respect. We are very serious people who used your platform a lot. Mauricio Silva attitude is diminishing the prestige of Viator and Puka Rumi travel agency. The travel agency acted as expected within the timeframe and responsible. The problem is the tour guide, Mauricio Silva.
