Only do this tour if you speak Portuguese, don’t care what time the tour starts/ends, ok waiting in the dark freezing due to poor communication, not seeing the milky way clearly, and getting photos a week later. I did the roofless tour the night before and that was better in every way. Roofless had a darker location to see milky way/stars, small group with personal attention, clear communication on pickup/dropoff in English, on time and way better pictures that were sent in less than 24 hrs. This tour was delayed 2.5 hours with no reason given and disorganized with everyone rotating stations in groups. My friends and I were the last ones to get photos done at almost 2am when milky way was setting so it was barely visible. We were led out into the desert walking 10 minutes by a photographer that did not speak English. When we returned to the site, everyone was gone and the photographer took us back to the hotel. It took constant messaging on whatsapp for a week to finally get subpar photos. I rarely write reviews but I feel like this is necessary to warn others.

This tour seems a bit disorganized. The start time of our tour on 10 September 2026 was delayed by more than 2 hours but we were never provided an explanation on why it was delayed. Additionally upon arrival at the star gazing site, my group felt like we were being herded like cattle through the various stations that were set up. Lastly, we didn’t end up taking our photos until close to 1:30am and the Milky Way had already disappeared beyond the horizon. You could tell this may have an off night for the tour agency and while we appreciated being returned to our hotel by the guide themselves, we didn’t make it back until 2am, nearly 2 hours after the scheduled end. Would recommend a different tour option.
