I would book this trip early. It looks like the Hammerhead boat is filled on a first come first served basis. We had a much lesser boat - not as advertised. The representative that fit us for our fins and suits was uncaring (my husband received two different sized fins) and he put everything in one bag (use separate bags for each person). The guide, while informative, did his job, but did not seem overly enthusiastic. My friends went with another company and for a much lower price they had a better time. I have used Viator several times and have been very happy but Viator you can do better with this one.

Beware the False Impressions, just book on the island

My advice is to book on the island. Others in my tour paid $100 less. It’s all the same boats and group of guides for all the companies and they just shuffle you to whatever boat. My meal request was not honored and all I got was an empty apology when I asked after the trip (it’s very active and having a decent meal is necessary. I wish I had known they would do this to me so I could have packed my own meal). There’s no “naturalist” as much as guides who can point out the animals and birds. The experience itself was neat but I wish I had known all this ahead of time.

Hello Amy, We are sorry to read that you had some discomfort during your tour, but I would like to clarify some important points: -Waiting to get to the island to take the tour is very risky as you may not find availability. -The rates are the same, although there are some bad practices that try to fill the boats with offers, they are not the same as the ones we offer. -As for the food, as we told you there was a confusion with your order and at the time of trying to compensate you were no longer on the island, but we have adjusted this to avoid another case. The rest of the tour went according to plan. We hope you had a good trip back

I loved our trip a lot. IT was well organized and we saw a lot of dolphins. We also saw sea lions and turtles. We were not able to complete our swimming near the Kick Rock which was supposed to be a highlight of the tour. The current was strong and it was dangerous. I don't know if it would be different in the morning or not. We did it as the last stop. The only thing that we were disappointed was the price of the tour. We paid 227 dollars in advance, but the tours over there cost 120-145 dollars per person depending on the company. I think Viator over charged us. I agree to pay a little bit extra but not a 100 dollars extra per person. And I had 10 people in my group. Everything else was very good. the tour guide was good, our lunch was nice and all the people enjoyed the trip.

Die Tour war wirklich atemberaubend. Unser tourguide war sehr nett, die Spots, an denen wir hielten waren wunderschön und wir hatten Glück und konnten sehr viele Tiere sehen. Die Zeit an den einzelnen Orten war ausreichend und das Essen lecker.
