Overpriced trip

For what this is it was overpriced. Picked up from the hotel and driven to the bakery. Guide himself had to ask the bakers our questions. We got the feeling that we were in the way. However, watching them work is amazing and you do get the chance to mould a bread. You even have to pay for a bread if you want to taste it.

Real bread from Samarkand

Usman took us to a bakery, where we were able to see every step of the bread-making process, from flour to freshly baked bread. We even got to participate in some of the steps ourselves. Many thanks to the bakery staff for welcoming us, showing us their work, and letting us taste the delicious plov. A special thank you goes to Usman, our private guide, for his kindness, hospitality, and the excellent explanations he provided throughout the visit.
