Our guide Jes was great she explained everything in a lot of detail in both Spanish and English, the views were breathtaking.
However the bus did not have a functioning AC which made the trip unbearable, we also couldn't open all the windows so the temperature inside and the lack of air was horrid.
Personally I also didn't care for the stop in the winery the guide there did her best to explain things in English but it wasn't very good. I understand Spanish and I booked this tour for the Quebrada so it didn't matter to me but if you are interested in that part be aware they don't really speak English.

Tour is great, the Canyon is beautiful and wineries on the other side is interesting as well

This tour was visually breathtaking and the stops were good choices for beauty and photos. What I didn’t like was that the microphone on the bus was bad and made it nearly impossible to understand what the guide was saying. Also, the recommended place that was declared as a cheap and delicious place was mediocre and overpriced. The fact that the staff did not eat there should have been a red flag. Makes me think they get commission. Definitely eat elsewhere.

This should NOT be advertised as an English tour. Angie was very kind, enthusiastic, and knowledgable, but she spoke almost exclusively in Spanish. She did give a private, short summary translation to me and the one other English speaker on the tour, but it was extremely limited (5-10 minutes of English after she had spoken to the group for 35+ minutes in Spanish). It just made me feel very excluded and isolated. (The tours I had been on the prior two days had guides who alternated between Spanish and English the entire time so that no one was ignored.) The Cafayate winery tour and tasting, supposedly the highlight of the trip, was 100% in Spanish (by the winery staff). Angie spoke English to me for <2 minutes at the end just to explain the wines available for purchase. The scenery and rock formations were very pretty, the tour was fairly inexpensive, and I did enjoy her playing the musical instrument and sharing her red cape for photos. Overall, though, I felt invisible the entire time and got very little from the commentary.
