Hornucal is even better than the pics. Fabio is one of the best tour guides I’ve had. He took time to learn everyone’s name, he was engaging, and his English is really good.

A must see. Our guide Fabio made the day unforgettable. He was very entertaining and didn't rush any stops. Lunch stop was excellent. Hornocal is a must see. Scenery is spectacular.

It was an excellent excursion because we had a very good tour guide, his name is Fabio. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject which made the tour more meaning when I had a good guide.

Fabio is one of the best driver and tour guide, skillful, knowledgeable, communicative, engaging, and funny. He tried his best to introduce sights and chat with me, even sharing delicious empanadas and offering beautiful necklace gift, though I was the only one that needed his effort to speak English.

The bus was broken during the trip so we have to wait for more than 1.5 hours on the bus for the tour company to send another bus. The second bus was and old one with poor air conditioning. Then when we returned, the second bus was broken and the driver has to stop and fix it. The view of the hill of 14 colors is great, but the journey takes too long.

The car (definitely not a 4x4) ride out to Hornocal from Humahauaca and back was brutal. Seven adults crammed into a tiny “clown car”.

The tour was very good. My guide did not speak much English so I only received little bits and pieces of commentary. Fortunately, there was an English-speaking person on the bus with me who would translate certain things which was helpful. We visited several very pretty little towns and it was nice to have some time to walk around the scenery was beautiful. What I didn’t realize is the part going to the 14 colored mountains was a separate excursion only five of us from the tour we’re going on that excursion. The others stayed in town and had lunch and walked around. Five of us crammed into a small car and drove for about an hour on a dirt road to get to Hornicol. Seeing the mountain up close made it a very worthwhile trip. It was truly spectacular. You might get a little hot and dusty, but I think it was worth it.

Jaw dropping vista when the 4WD makes it to the view point at 4350m. The almost geometric colours in the hills are very beautiful! Guide gave great tour, allowing plenty of time for photos and questions. Both drivers (mini bus and 4WD) were very safe and friendly!

We really enjoyed our tour of Hornocal & Humahuaca. Martin was a fantastic guide, who always made sure to cater to us English speakers and give us the full explanations of everything, so we didn't feel like we were missing out on anything. He also explained the many benefits of coca leaves for dealing with the altitude, and helped us buy some at one of the stops as we do go up in elevation on this tour. The guides were very thoughtful about making sure we all felt okay with altitude before moving on. Each stop on the tour had an incredible view, whether it was a natural wonder or a beautiful town, and there was enough time at each to appreciate it. There was still a lot of driving, sometimes an hour or two at a time, so be prepared with water, snacks and soap/wipes (the regional toilets don't always have any paper or soap).

It was good. The guide was a pretty dry Cover, who didn't mind interacting.
I spoke what I had to speak in Spanish, we asked you to speak more slowly. Did you just say "brasilheños"?
And it continued at the same pace.
The very old micro.onibus, with ripped banks.
Excellent driver.
It's a nice walk, but very tired.

Vale muitíssimo a pena!

雨のHumahuaca(博物館も休館)も1時間半も散策させていただきました。
