The trip was beautiful with great views and our guide Jorge was very knowledgable. The only negative thing is there is an additional 6000 ARS cash only fee to pay to enter the Salinas Grandes a small cost but it states here all fees are included which is not the case so the description is misleading.

Amazing experience! Its a very long day of driving but worth it to get to the incredible salt flats. The drive through the mountains is very beautiful and it was nice to stop in the town along the way. I would just note that the entry to the salt flat wasn't included so you'll need to pay for that when you get there (bring some extra cash). Also when you stop in the town I would suggest going to the lookout, its a few dollars entry but amazing views! Overall, great tour.

It is a long day, but totally worth it to see these natural wonders! We are on a small bus, maybe 14 people only in our group. Great value for the length of the scenic ride. Our guide was really good and spoken in both English and Spanish. The extra 6000 pesos. ($6) was also great value for all the fantastic pictures that the local photographers took at the salt flats.

Absolutely worthwhile. Our Guide Augustine was enthusiastic and informative. If you can work it into your trip do so. The lunch break was phenomenal. We were there on Christmas Day so the souvenir shops at the salt flats were closed but we literally had the place almost to ourselves.
