This Red Sand Dunes tour is perfect for those who want to try camel rides and quad bikes, explore ancient remains of a palace, at a highly affordable price AND within 3.5-4 hours. All this is made possible within the vicinity of Riyadh, thanks to the excellent tour managers and kind guides. I would like to re-visit when I get the chance to fly ro Riyadh again.

Entire experience from picking us up from our home to taking us for the camel and bike rides was very smooth.
Our guide Marhan was very polite and accommodating.
Only constructive feedback is that adding old palace to this trip may not be worthwhile since there are no characters in particular attached to this palace. Only thing is that it is 3000 old palace. May want to look into adding another sight seeing to this combo.
Overall it was a fun experience. Highly recommend it.

Loved this Experience so much! We had kids 7, 12, and 15, and adults from 20’s-60. Every one had the best time!! Definitely recommend!! We had a large group staying in 2 separate airbnbs and they picked us up from both locations, drove us there and back. We started with a quick camel ride and photo op. Then over to the 4x4’s. They had single or double riders and even kid sized ones. They provided helmets for the 4x4’s. I was nervous at first, by even my 7 year old was able to master it quickly! Once toy get hang of it, the dune were a blast! We had two guides with us the entire time…and helped anytime anyone got stuck, and made sure no one was left behind. We ended the day with a brief trip at ruins of an ancient palace. It was very neat to walk through and get a glimpse of the past. Highly recommend!!

Our tour guide was amazing : communication was excellent. On time and very informative the entire way. Ride was pleasant and enjoyable.
Camels were a lot of fun : although I do wish we had a bit more time on them. They take fantastic photos . The ATV’s were so much fun. Highly recommend that if you know how to shift with a clutch that you upgrade to the 400cc machine : more power and faster. The normal 250cc is still loads of fun. They even have 150cc machines . Time flew by, scenery was breathtaking. Our guide had cold waters for us when finished.
On the way home he stopped off at the very first compound in Riyadh. Took his time to show us around and give us a great history lesson. His English is exceptional.
All in all : great tour and worth every penny

Abduallah was fantastic, from the moment we enquired before booking to when he dropped us back at the apartment.
He is so welcoming and full of advice, the camel riding was excellent and the quad biking very safe and the guides very helpful too.
He arrived early and nothing was too much trouble for him.
Would definitely recommend this tour, thank you Abdullah and team.

This quad experience is dangerous. It’s fun and exciting but you should be aware there is serious safety risks. Our guide did not stay with us. One of our team got separated and we all got worried until we eventually found him. The sand dunes cause disorientation so it’s easy to get lost. A flagged route would help greatly. If you have no experience driving quads this might not be for you. The camel ride afterwards was a joke. 150 yards walk on a camel after a 30min car journey was not worth the cost or time.

Sorry for hearing that but we do have GPS Tracker on all our Quads. So you will never lose in the desert and never happed before. This product is “Free Quad bashing in Red Sand Dunes” and that where it gets its excitement from, flagged specific routes will make it boring, thus, we make it free bashing and put tracker on each quad and monitoring guide with each group who make sure everything go well. We are the best in term of safety as we use helmets ⛑️, training, high quality quads, GPS trackers, well trained guide in the desert with each group, clear safety instructions.

I enjoyed the trip very much. Only one thing, the quads have not so strong engine, so bigger people shouldt have problem with speed. But the dunes, the sunset, and the ride was really nice. Biggest plus of this trip is local operator Abdullah. He will tell you everything what you need for the ride, and than he will explain to you how saudi arabia works. We chatted for an hour in the car, he answered me every question and i get a lot of information about saudis culture, religion, life and more

Not for the feint hearted ! Be ready for an adrenaline fuelled adventure. Insist on wearing helmets ( life saving !) also wear long trousers as the engine can get very hot !

We were picked up at our compound, and despite rush hour traffic, made it to the dunes in under two hours - no small feat in Riyadh. After a very brief safety brief - accelerator, rear brake, front brake (inoperable), have fun - we had a blast. An hour on the quads was more than enough time to have fun and to catch sunset over the dunes. Returned to the start and mounted a camel for a 10 minute ride around the area. Our driver brought us back to the compound after a thoroughly enjoyable time. Highly recommend bringing patience and an adventurous spirit, but its worth it.

The trip was AWESOME! There were three of us on the excursion and we had a blast. Several hours out on the 4-wheelers riding all over the desert and then a camel ride at the end. Abdula was an amazing guide! I would definitely book another excursion with him.

I spent more than 1000 SAR, for my son to ride a quad bike for an hour. There was no dune cashing or sand boarding as advertised . We were offered camel ride, where there were mostly young kids participating . This we declined. The price of the quad biking was way less.
I’m extremely disappointed. Way below my expectations and past experience
