4 by 4 promised but not delivered, resulting in a most uncomfortable bumpy ride in an ordinary car to the Edge of the WorldTerrible. The part time driver/guide was 45 minutes late in picking us up. Lunch was lousy - my wife just couldn’t eat it.

I booked the tour start at 2pm, expecting to see the driver at hotel lobby. But nobody appeared. I tried to contact the number provided, but nobody picked up the phone. Staff at the hotel helped me to contact them, but no answer. After 30 min. later, I received a message via WhatsApp. The message was, "Our driver is stuck in traffic and he will reach your hotel late going back also traffic you will miss the sunset we suggest going tomorrow" "Big accident in the road" I can't believe that. If it was true, at least they should have contacted me in advance. Nobody appeared at the time of appointment, answered me 30 min. later and suggest tomorrow? ! How is it possible for the tourist from foreign country? The only choice I could do was to wait the driver. Driver arrived 1hour 45min later, it means 3:45pm. Driver told me that he received the offer at 3pm. Since he drove so fast, I could arrive before sunset. But I had a car sick since no rest and he drove very fast. But I could see the sunset by the driver's effort. However, I couldn't do anything included in tour, such as onfire Wood, Music, Live Hot Cooking Dinner or Traditional Arabic Food at Traditional Restaurant. Because I a bad car sick and got late. Never had such a bad experience. At least I could see the sunset there that was the hightlight of my travel to Saudi Arabia. I felt very stress though the view of Edge of the World was great. Never again.

The tour guide did not speak much English and did provide the tour as advertised. When I questioned the driver about not completing the tour, he advised through a chat message from someone else that the edge of world visit was all I got despite the advertisement including inclusions of a visit to a local village, lunch and more. I was never compensated for this issue by the operator nor Viator. Do not recommend this tour as they are not honest and do not provide the tour as advertised

The best part of this trip was being at “The Edge of the World” and our driver. Unfortunately the rest of the trip was not good and was definitely not worth the money, find another operator to do the tour with. The only item from our program that was correct was the “Edge of The World”, no village tour, no authentic Arabian dinner Mac and Cheese does not represent authentic Arabian food, no telescope, the 4x4 car was so old that in the desert it could only go really slow. I, and our hotel, tried to contact the operator to discuss these matters but no one would return our calls our emails. I do not like to write negative reviews, it was important for me to point out this companies short companies to ensure another person does not get taken advantage of.

Un luogo indimenticabile. La nostra guida Mohammed non parlava inglese ma si faceva capire ed era veramente gentile. Ci ha fatto un sacco di foto ed era entusiasta di mostrarci questo posto da sogno. Imperdibile direi. Cena buona in un posto tipico dove si mangia in stanzetta privata all.araba seduti sulle stuoie . Riso e pollo con salsine , andava bene .

Ce site est vraiment très beau et vaut la peine d'etre visité. La visite privée est chère (480€ pour deux) et n'est pas à la hauteur de ce que l'on pourrait attendre. Le chauffeur, bien qu'agréable ne parlait pas anglais et ne pouvait pas nous faire partager la culture de son pays. Ce n'était en aucun cas un guide comme indiqué dans la présentation de la prestation
Par ailleurs repas bon mais très simple servi dans une vaisselle en plastique. Un peu juste pour le prix.
