We had a beautiful day for a visit to Saguenay. The city tour covered a few things we wanted to see. Then we hiked at the park. It was an easy hike, but more than a walk. I liked the trail through the trees, and the gorge and waterfall was beautiful. Our guide Denis was fun and talkative. He harvests honey, and that was very interesting.
Perfect overview of some town history and a gorgeous walk in the woods with a lot of fall colors. The length of time was perfect bc we had time to wander as well.
Dennis was knowledgeable and personable. He surprised us with home farmed honey and other local treats. The hike was beautiful.

This was a fabulous tour. We learned the history of Saguenay and enjoyed a beautiful tour and hike. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Our bus driver was a safe driver and friendly as well.

We had Bob as our tour guide! He was excellent. Was fluent in both French (obviously) but also spoke very good English which was great for me and my husband as we don’t speak a lick of French!
The tour itself was beautiful. Definitely not for people with mobility challenges. The walk down by the river is stunning and you walk on boardwalks and dirt and then some rocky areas as well. Definitely the highlight of our day!

It was a wonderful tour with gorgeous views, especially going down along the river canyon. However, I would not recommend this for persons with mobility issues due to having to step on and over rocks, roots and slippery or uneven surfaces.

The city tour was enjoyable with many local stories. The waterfall hike was beautiful, enjoyable, and had more great views than I was expecting. I enjoyed this tour very much! However, realize that this is a "hike" not a "walk". Though it is definitely an easy hike with much of it on boardwalks or smooth dirt or mulch, there were many portions of uneven rocky surfaces, and some gentle inclines and decents. There were some in our group that were not stable enough on their feet to walk the rockier surfaces, and others that complained that the bus did not park close enough to the view the guide wanted to show us. But to me, I would still consider it an easy hike. Just be aware that it is more than a paved walk.

Great history, great scenery, fun hike.Definitely not for mobility impaired. There is a combination of trail, boardwalks, steps up and steps down.

Denis was a very good guide who shared his h owl edge of Saguenay with us. The trip was interesting. You need to be active to walk the mile along the gorge from the waterfall back to the bus. Beautiful scenery

This was an amazing, must do tour. The tour operator is two minutes outside of the dock where the ship arrives. We took the 2 1/2 hour city and waterfall tour. I believe there are two tours per day. We took the later one and still made it back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. It was a nice small, clean 24 seat van. We don’t like doing large bus tours (50+ passengers) as it takes too long to get people on and off and there’s always some selfish person coughing all over everybody!. The small van was ideal! Drove around the town for a little bit and then drove out to the waterfalls. Our tour guide Marie, was amazing! She was funny and informative and was one of the best tour guides I’ve toured with. I also loved her French accent! I highly recommend this tour. There is very little to do tour wise in Saguenay. Five stars!
Denis our guide was very knowledgeable of the area & Richard was a great driver. The trail & hike to the waterfall was beautiful with well maintained trail & boardwalk. Many opportunities for great photos. Highly recommend

A small group tour in Saguenay. At 2 1/2 hours, a perfect length with driving time approx 30 minutes total.
Our guide was well prepared, high energy and very entertaining.
The short waterfall hike was very beautiful, all downhill along the canyon on a boardwalk or well maintained trail. There were some steps to navigate, so we couldn't take our 2 year old's stroller.
Highly recommended and would love to return.

This was a very nice excursion….leader was very informative but also watchful of those on the tour. We were a group from a cruise ship & “older”. We had no problems but one guest had expressed he had a double hip replacement & the guide was mindful of this. Beautiful waterfall & hike was excellent but not super taxing. Would highly recommend!

Such a wonderful tour with Dennis in Suganey Baie. This was one of the highlights of our trip. He was so knowledgeable and truly involved with the group. He answered questions and make sure we were able to spend adequate time at each stop, never felt rushed. The city tour was wonderful and the history interesting and engaging....... but the waterfall hike is a MUST Do! Was a great surprise to sample chocolate covered blueberries and the "Queen's" Cheese. at the end of our time. Highly Recommend this tour!!

The experience was great, but the arrangements were a mess. Dennis was a fun and informative guide. First of all Viator sent an e-mail changing the time. I called to confirm the day of the tour and the tour director had no knowledge of the time change. If I hadn't of called we would have missed the tour. Secondly, we were a group of 10 and they tried to split us into two groups. A group of 9 and 1. Really? We adamantly refused, and finally someone else on the bus volunteered to move to the other bus. The management of the tour was awful.

Good evening Rose, I'm delighted to see that you and your group enjoyed your tour with us. Regarding the program, we sent everyone the latest program and the new location of our booth three days before the tour. I don't understand why you didn't receive it from us or Viator. Regarding the seats on the minibus, there were two other small groups booked for our 9:00 a.m. tour, and one of them had an odd number of people. They had booked and paid individually, so we didn't know they were a group until they arrived on the bus. It took a little while to find a solution, but we managed to get everyone together. The tour departed 5 or 6 minutes late.

Dennis was our guide and very good at imparting the history of the area, we were told by a couple on our cruise ship that there is nothing in Saguenay and was not sure why cruise ship stopped here, clearly they were wrong. This tour is just what you want to deep your toe in the “netflix virgin river” experience. Described as a hike its more of a gentle stroll alongside the waterfalls and canyon of the river, but do take stout footwear if the weather is or has been wet. Our was a dry sunny day. The town is not steeped in history but you are given what there is. This tour is about the wilderness, smell the fresh air, wonder at the sound of the river and enjoy the views. The company run bear tours and a four hour tour along the fjord, this is the petit tour to give the flavour for bigger adventures and just right if your a cruiser if you want to be back on board for lunch.

This was a lovely tour. The hike was not too challenging but certainly not flat. Our guide was very entertaining, and the pace of the tour was not too fast.
Nice excursion to a great park. The guide was fantastic, and we were lucky to have beautiful weather.
