Pickup location was not as advertised in the booking so I would double check that with the vendor ahead of time. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes before we were able to get in touch with someone to tell us where the actual location was and we had to walk about 0.5 miles to get there. This ended up cutting into our trip by about 45 minutes. The guide was very nice and the location is beautiful, however the guidance on how to do the mechanics of cross country skiing was pretty limited. The trail has some uphill and more downhill than I was expected. For someone who has not skied before it was a bit daunting. It would have been great to get some more instruction before starting the course especially on practicing stopping and learning the correct mechanics of how to move your body. Ended up falling quite a few times so it was more trial and error. It is a really beautiful location, however I would say it is not a beginner activity if you have never put skiis on. There is not much of a lesson before hand more so just some corrections as you go. Trail is pretty long as well. I would recommend if you are either comfortable with cross country skiing and just want a guided experience or if you are ok falling quite a bit and learning that way.
